Easy walk to Home and Cylinder Beaches

Straddie Beach House 3 is an elevated, open style home that captures sea breezes and offers slight views to Moreton Island.  Home Beach is a 3 minute walk.  Cylinder Beach, the hotel, bowls club and public transport are also easy short walks.  The home is adjacent to bushland with a resident koala and frequent visits from kangaroos. 

Features:  Three levels with polished timber floors, 3 screened bedrooms (2 Queen, 1 Bunk, 1 Single and 1 Trundle), 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, top-load washing machine, dryer, NBN, TV, DVD Player, CD player, gas BBQ, lockable storeroom and laundry at ground level, covered carport.  


Linen is provided and beds made for your convenience.

* If Wifi is offered it is a complimentary extra. As there is no charge, issues will be dealt with ASAP but cannot be guaranteed.
* To ensure the comfort of guests and the neighbours, we do not accept bookings for ''Schoolies'' breaks/under 21 yrs groups.

House was in a good position. Just off main drive and central to beaches and had everything needed for a three day stay at Straddie. Quite clean and comfortable.

Great location, well managed and perfect for a family break. Accurately represented online and only extra which would make it ideal is some screens on the upstairs windows so you can keep everything open at nighttime.

Amazing long weekend

We had straddie beach house for a long weekend and it was amazing! The location is perfect in regards to walking distance to Kokomo restaurant, the pub, the bowls club and the off leash dog beach. Only point is the windows could do with some screens but honestly it was fine if you just shut them early enough.

Straddie break

House was comfortable and reasonably clean, but being near the beach, with wind, and sand and shutters rather than windows, stuff drifts in and accumulates in the corners. But not an issue. The road was, sometimes, surprisingly busy with 4WD accelerating up the hill outside it. However, it was quiet at night and so convenient for reaching the beach or wandering into Point Lookout.

Nice property, good location, close to beach and pub,

Close to dog friendly / swimming beach Felt like we were in a tree house Met the resident Koala Opened all the louvres to cool the place down with the ocean breeze and then shut them all tight when hit by a massive storm to feel secure. House has everything and good wifi perfect for a couple, family or even 2 families. Very short drive to everything you could possibly need. Pub was close but disappointing average food but the local island beer is nice. Highly recommend this property for short or long stays Justin

Great for families and dog lovers

The house is comfortable and ideal for families, but its proximity to the dog off leash Home Beach was the key to our enjoyment of our holiday. The beach is expansive and beautiful with safe swimming for us and the dog.
