The hotel was a great place to stay. The staff was very good and helpful.we were able to park on the road.sadly the bar and restaurant was closed as it closes early on a Sunday. You could replace your tea and coffee for your room yourself.Over all a brilliant stay.

Fine value for what we paid. Nice location! Fairly quiet neighborhood and dozens of places to eat with a 10 minute walk. Gentlemen: if we take our wives here for our anniversary, we might find we're not celebrating that anniversary the following year if you know what I mean :-)

Overall, we had a good stay at the Clifton Hotel. The room was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom had been cleaned, but there were still some stains on the toilet, so I think a little more attention to detail with the cleaning would be helpful. The room also didn’t have a fridge, which would have been useful. Unfortunately, the hotel car park was full when we arrived, so we had to park on the street nearby. Despite these small issues, we had a pleasant stay overall and the hotel was good for our trip.
