This is one our top hotels ever. Close to perfect. Dinner was fantastic and we were there for a Tudor Murder Mystery dinner which was so much fun. Staff was incredible for everything we needed and the room was over the top luxury.

This was such a unique experience. Like stepping through time into the Tudor era. The room was beautiful and the area was peaceful. Staff were amazing, very attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend to any history lovers.

Had a wonderful stay at Thornbury Castle. The venue itself was extraordinary; a real a Tudor Castle once owned by Henry VIII. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The grounds were well kept and clean and the rooms had such great detail; sticking to the Tudor theme. We stayed in the Catherine of Aragon sweet and it was amazing. The food was delicious with a great deal of care gone into preparation, presentation and serving too. Couldn’t fault our stay! Would 100% return.

Great and memorable stay. The food was excellent, especially the dinner and I would rate this place 10/10. The staff were very friendly, helpful and went out of their way to assist us, showing great flexibility throughout our stay. The rooms were exceptional, truly beyond words. I have travelled extensively and stayed in many places and this is one of the best places we have stayed.

This is a beautiful property. We dined like royalty and the breakfast was very very good. Our restaurant waiter was very professional and did a great job describing the wine pairings. Our room was truly magnificent. We stayed in the queen Mary room. It was truly a bucket list item for me. The castle is a must do for history lovers and romantics.

We booked two rooms for a special occasion - we were allocated the Anne Boleyn and our daughter’s had the Audley rooms, both overlooking St Mary’s Church where we got married. The staff were all very friendly and attentive, dinner in the library was fabulous and breakfast was perfect. We even had good weather. Will definitely stay again
