Great stay
Jared's house is very comfortable for a small group. Lovely views, everything you would ever need in the kitchen and a comfy king size bed. The bunks are nore suited for kids not full sized adults We will stay again

Cool, cozy house with a fantastic mountain view
Just rent it:) This house is located in a quaint former mining town, with beautiful Mountain View's, in a quiet neighborhood. The design of the house is modern, but cozy and relaxing. We woke up each morning, made a pot of coffee and watched the outside scenery change as the fog rolled in and out of the trees. The art in the home adds another layer of character and elevates the cool vibe of the house. I was actually glad it rained the last night we stayed. It allowed us to turn off our "go" switch, light a fire in the fireplace, and chill. Perfection. Jared is very responsive and kind in all his communication. Thank you, Jared, for the opportunity to stay at your property. We hope to return.

Perfect stay
I spent 2 nights here with my family (including my 18 month old niece). The photos do not do this place justice. It is absolutely gorgeous. They had everything we needed, including all toddler necessities. Jared was an excellent host, super kind and very responsive. I would absolutely recommend this place to a friend, I even hope to return myself for another stay.

Beautiful wood house with a view
6 of us stayed in Jared’s place which was the perfect spot for a group heading to Whistler for the day. The open kitchen / living room was a great space for us all to cook and play games and we loved seeing the ocean in the morning from the kitchen table. Having the wood burning oven was a great addition as well. Bunk beds were a little small for some of the adults but we knew what we were signing up for! For the living space and amazing showers .,, we would definitely rent again.

Great little spot
This spot is a beaut. The furniture - specifically the living room couches and chairs, and the main bed's mattress - have been been updated since the photos were taken. Your stay will be that much cozier. Just a couple logs is all it takes to heat the house to blazing in a modern fireplace. Great kitchen for cooking in. If I had to find something to complain about, it would be that the neighbors trees have grown enough to block some of the view from downstairs. The upstairs shower is a miracle. Book this place, you won't be disappointed.

Great family property.
This property is the perfect 'away from home' stay. The primary bedroom is spacious with a beautiful view. The second bedroom can accommodate up to four children. The main living area is open and family friendly. Jared was easy to communicate with and very helpful. Just a few minutes from Squamish, this property offers all the amenities of the area and the quiet vibe of a residential community.

Beautiful spacious home with amazing master suite and fabulous kitchen, dining living space. One thing to note is that this is perfect for a family with kids as the second bedroom has two bunk beds - but these do not accommodate (comfortably) for adults.

The owner was very nice and let us in early as we had little children. My grandson enjoyed the mine tour and was an easy ride to Squamish and Whistler. Beautiful hardwood doors, floors and stairs. Exactly as described. Hope to come back again!

Phenomenal View, Custom Home, Highly Recommend.
My family of 4 stayed in Britannia Beach from 11 June to 18 June. Jared was proactive in contacting us, was very friendly, and arranged for an easy check in. The view from the house, especially from the bedroom balcony was fantastic. You can see Howe Sound and the mountain ridges to the East and West. We found Britania Beach to be a great compromise location for doing a lot of outdoors activities around Howe Sound and also visiting the city of Vancouver. If the gorgeous landscape of BC isn't the reason for your trip and you plan only on seeing Vancouver, you might want to consider renting further South as the drive was about an hour. The house seemed to originally be one of the older homes built at one time surrounding the old copper mine that closed decades ago and is now only open for tours. However, it has been completely renovated and has lots of custom touches like a great gourmet kitchen, a hand-built live edge hardwood staircase, and a really cool solid wood entry door that almost seems castle-like! There were more than enough kitchen supplies for just about any culinary project you might consider and the natural gas grill in the backyard easily gets over 750F, perfect for steaks - just be careful. Also of note, the upstairs master bedroom is VERY open concept as in no doors or walls between bedroom, shower, stairs. If you are extra prudish, expect to challenge your comfort level a bit! We spent our days between Squamish, Whistler, Deep Cove, Vancouver, and lots of Hiking. Hiking the Chief in Squamish only takes the morning if you can take all the stairs. We also did the full day hike to Lake Garibaldi, without exaggeration one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. We also kayaked in Deep Cove and rented a pleasure boat from Squamish Harbor. For those that want the amazing mountain views without the work, I recommend the Sea to Sky gondola which is just minutes from the house. My only recommendations to the owner might be to provide some local trail maps and maybe a better explanation of how to operate the thermostat as we never really got the AC adjusted. In the end we just gave up, since coming from Florida, we thought the BC summer weather was so damn pleasant. Again, I would recommend this rental, especially for a couple or a family of 4 looking to explore some of the prettiest parts of our continent.

Great location, amazing house, beautiful scenery
The house is more amazing than we could have hoped for. It is so beautiful and you get to look at the Howe Sound and mountains. Easy drive to Squamish and Whistler.
