Amazing!!!
We came there just to get away for a few days. It was perfect!!! The cabin was super clean and gorgeous. It is stocked with anything you can imagine. The hosts are great. Ian was so welcoming and helpful. He is really awesome and always checked in on us. We will for sure be back!!! Next time the card game is on Ian!!!!!!!!

Nothing but awesome!
This was my first VBRO stay , the bar was definitely set high! Communication with the owner was flawless and very efficient. The house was way more than I thought it would be and the icing was the people around the neighborhood. One lady made cookies and brought them to the kids! Will definitely be booking again here if we stay in the area or have a tournament.

This was a perfect stay! The house literally had everything we needed right down to wood so we could enjoy an outside fire. The boat ramp was super close for our early morning launch for the Bass tournament. The hosts were so kind and friendly. Would stay here over and over again!

Hidden gem!
I almost don’t want to leave a review because I’m afraid it’ll be harder to book in the future, and I will absolutely be staying here again! Ian is an awesome host! I’ve stayed at many VRBO properties, and he’s the best host I’ve ever encountered. The neighborhood is super quiet and safe. There is a boat ramp right there in the neighborhood. The house itself is comfortable and has plenty of space for multiple guests. Will be back!

Family friendly and safe area
Ian is everything other reviewers said. He lives across the street and makes himself available whenever needed but never makes it feel like he’s watching you or being intrusive. He’s the neighbor you wish you had at home. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful and safe. Feels like the old days where everyone watches out for each other and you could leave your doors unlocked without having to worry; although, no one would do that these days. The house is neat and clean. There is a fan provided for each bedroom. At this time, one king bedroom has a mattress that is a little firmer than the other so it was nice to have a choice. Everyone slept comfortably and rested well. There are several boat launches nearby including one in the neighborhood that is in excellent shape. If you have others with you that don’t fish but enjoy sitting by the water and watching wildlife, the boat launch is close enough to walk to and has a picnic bench in the shade next to the launch area that is perfect to watch the squirrels play and listen to the birds while taking in the beautiful lake view. Would definitely recommend this place.

Great Cabin!
Very clean and the owners thought of everything! From a big porch fan down to the littlest details. We will recommend this cabin to everyone that comes to the lake! Owners live across the street and we’re available and responsive to everything we asked. Great location, great A/C!

Amazing Place
We really enjoyed our stay! It was super relaxing! Husband got a lot of fishing in and really enjoyed his Father’s Day! Ian and his wife are super sweet host! It is a beautiful home and we felt right at home! We had everything we needed! Ian is a great host and if we needed anything he was right there! They made sure our stay was amazing!

Great place to stay
We really enjoyed our stay at the lake house. The owner Ian lives across the street and is super friendly and will help with any questions you may have. The house was really clean and comfortable. It is just around the corner from a neighborhood boat ramp so it made it really nice and convenient for a fisherman like myself. We will try to stay there again for sure.

Family Time
It was a wonderful week, we wanted to stay somewhere that all of our grandchildren could come and visit, if they could make the trip. We played tons of games cooked instead of going out to eat. The grands were able to have their own rooms and sleep late if they wanted to. The best thing was just to relax. Thanks Ian and Gayla for helping with our red headed step child, we often wonder about him. This was an experience we will not soon forget. Great place to slow down.

This was the perfect place for my family. The cabin was so nice and had everything that we needed. The beds were very comfortable and everything was so neat and clean. Home away from Home
Where to even begin! My husband and I planned our 1yr wedding anniversary trip here and we couldn’t have asked for a better place! Ian and Gigi thought of every detail including having gifts for us for our special day. The house was loaded with everything you could need and what we didn’t have, they were just a text message away from letting us know where we could get it or bring it to us! The beds were comfortable, the location was amazing if you have a boat as it’s close access to the boat ramp. We enjoyed a full day in the beach like water just floating in our floats and laughing until we cried! We enjoyed every minute of the serene peace and quiet and water fun! Thank you Ian for being so attentive and responsive and thank you Gigi for treating us like forever friends! We will not forget this trip and we will be back!! Now back to reality!!!

Lake getaway
The absolute best place we have ever stayed. The hosts were conveniently local and the nicest couple to be around. The cabin was artfully decorated and super clean. The close proximity to Sam Rayburn Lake along with the private boat ramp made our fishing trip easy as well as the great fishing The community was quaint and the security we felt was priceless. Cell coverage was terrible, except for the WiFi and we loved it. A nice break we definitely needed. Would love to go back.

Great place to stay!!
Great getaway spot! The house is very well equipped, and the beds were very comfortable, and everything was very clean. The fire pit was nice for the afternoon fire, and we had a great time on the lake. Having a boat launch chose was nice, and there was no one there. The hosts were very hospitable and quick to respond with any questions. The neighborhood is great for a walk, and everyone was very friendly. We enjoyed or stay and plan on going back. Enjoyed sitting on the porch watching and listening to the birds and no traffic. Cable TV is provided. The property is so well decorated and comfortable. Every condiment you need is provided along with toiletries. The owner is available for any questions and provided excellent directions. We will return!

Literally loved “Lake Life”
My husband and I, along with our teen son and dog, vacationed at “Lake Life” for 7 days… best 7 days EVER! The owners have put a lot of thought into making this cabin a cozy, comfy getaway. Warning: it looks just like the pictures!! With a recliner and reclining sofa, you are able to kick back, relax, cool off and watch a movie from a generous selection of DVD blockbuster movies. Cell coverage was “spotty”, but unplugging from the “rat race” is just what we wanted and needed. With the WiFi, we were able to retrieve and send emails, if necessary. A full size range and microwave is there to cook meals with, or you could just haul out sandwich makings from the stainless fridge. The kitchen has all the dishes, pots, silverware, glasses and utensils you will need. The fridge has condiments left from previous guests! We chose to leave some things as well, “paying it forward” to the next guests at “Lake Life”. You are a ways from grocery stores or liquor stores, so bring stuff with you. If you are rural people like us, that is how we live, so you’ll be prepared. The laundry had a full size washer and dryer so you can pack clean clothes to go home, instead of a big bag of laundry. The pillow top mattresses made falling asleep a soft breeze after a hot day fishing. Ian and Gayla, the owners, have put a lot of thought into the decor. The front porch just says “welcome” with rocking chairs, colored lights, and a red front door with “Lake Life” on the window. There is lots of cute, rustic decor about lakes, fishing and wine to remind you that you are on VACATION. Colorful, soft quilts and pillows bring the finishing touches to the bedrooms. The neighborhood’s private boat ramp was easy to use and only a couple of blocks away. We are new boat people, and didn’t need a summer crowd, while we get used to unloading and loading. The hosts, Ian and Gayla, could not have been any nicer. Gracious, welcoming, and available, but not at all meddlesome. We can’t wait to return in the fall for a long weekend… s’mores on the fire pit and wine… and of course - bass fishing!

Amber and her family are very nice people. Unfortunately, future host must be aware. Amber booked as 2 adults, 0 children, 0 pets. Actually it was 6 adults, 2 children, at least one dog, several cars and a motor home. By saying 0 pets, the pet fee was not paid, and still hasn’t been. By mentioning to her that some host would be very upset with her, we got our first 3 star review after 2 years of being in business. It’s very disappointing at minimum.

We're from Indiana and have used VRBO numerous times. This is without a doubt the most comfortable, well supplied, clean cabin we used. We'll certainly stay with the Fellow's again. Ian and his wife couldn't have made us feel more at home. Our hope is that they open time for us.

WONDERFUL place to stay!
