Excellent location. En-suite room. Friendly staff. Quirky old Victorian style bathroom with shower in roll top bath (would not be suitable for those with mobility issues, as they would have difficulty getting in and out of the bath). It was very hot weather and only one opening window. The fan helps, but could do with air conditioning. The room is fine for a couple of nights. We had an enjoyable atay

The property was filthy, didn’t see anyone to complain to we collected the key from a building across the road. I have never stayed anywhere so dirty it can’t have been cleaned for months, one window was screwed shut and it was really hot. I have taken photos, I had to buy wipes to wipe over the surfaces but I didn’t do the floors which were also filthy.

Fabulous room. Sadly as it is an old building I could hear everything happening in the room above, this included a very heavy footed person. Bath is very luxurious. Great high quality tea and coffee but no decaf tea.

To be honest it was very loud from the gig place from across the road (Saturday) but it calmed down & it was quiet for the rest of the stay in spir of the house's very central location (& lots of good music in town). I had an issue with the window & appreciated that the hotel owner responded & resolved the situation. The rooms are lovingly decorated & warm, and the bed was very comfy.
