The usual frustration of completing pre check in online information before you arrive, but when you check in you are asked to provide your check out date before a key card is issued. Why!"

"First time to Saltmoore, although visited in the past when it was Raithwaite Hall. Very much enjoyed our 2 night stay in the Beach House. Nice big room. We did not try the leisure facilities, as we were happy in the fresh ai,r walking along the beaches to Sandsend & Whitby. The weather was good, which helps too. We did eat in the Brasserie, which was excellent. It’s good to not pay over the odds for drinks too. A lovely place to visit and we will return."
