"Cabin was extremely cozy! There were so many complimentary items that made me feel personally welcomed- s’mores kit, breakfast items, snacks, bottled water, multiple bundles of wood and fire starters! I stayed for 3 nights and didn’t need a single thing from the hosts because everything was just perfect. (Even though the hosts checked in EVERY day to see if I did need anything!) Loved my time there."

"Comfortable and quiet. Conveniently located. We usually stay in Two Harbors, but decided to keep our drive shorter this time, Nice to have the option to go further north for a day trip, if we wanted to. Just a couple things in need of attention... the microwave hadn't been cleaned after previous uses. And the DVD control didn't have any batteries in it, so we switched the batteries back and forth between that and TV remote to pop in a couple good movies from the broad collection. *Meant to leave a note regarding both of these, but forgot before we checked out! Sorry. Still enjoyed our stay! Thanks! "

"The kitchen had no cooking pans, dishes, utensils d. soap other than left over 1 paper towel used roll. I found a dish strainer under the sink so I washed up a few things by hand. It did have a very small one cup coffee pot w/coffee bags, microwave, toaster & mini-frig, but that was it; VERY bare bones. I suppose because folks steal stuff? I wouldn't do that but I guess people do or they leave a huge mess because there is no dishwasher. The bathroom had clean towels, TP (but no extra) 1 box of tissue, I square of soap & hotel size shampoo, conditioner & body lotion. The bed was super comfortable and the linens were very clean so no issues there. The 1st two nights were super quiet but the 3rd night a car came through and parked right across the street from my unit and sat there with very loud booming music and woke me up! Super annoying. It was a Wednesday night. I think someone called because it got quiet not too long afterwards. Parking is free in front of the unit. The unit was pretty old (I could tell by the shape the deck & picnic table was in) but it was well kept enough w/some updates & clean enough for me to give it decent stars. Not sure I would stay there again but for the peace & quiet I got for 2 nights it was worth it. A hotel room for less per night in the same town would not of made it worth it for me. I need quiet. I stayed Monday night through Wednesady night w/a Thursday early morning check out. The gate going in "card key" were a PAIN my last day! "

"Rented a room with a King and was given a room with 2 queens. No explanation why. Heard a couple guests that had "issues" but my room was clean."

"Check in was easy, the kid at the desk was really sweet. Our cabin was clean and cozy. Though it was cold and rainy it was nice and toasty inside and the large covered porch had a grill where we made a fire. We didn’t even have to treck to the bathrooms at night cause there was a pretty clean port-a-potty at the end of our drive. Over all lovely stay and we’d like to stay again :)"

"Breakfast is typical continental carbs; not much GF (only yogurt). Room walls and lamps were covered in dust. Fan in bathroom caked with grime and old pretzels were found under the bed. The pool is closed (no notice indicated anywhere prior to booking) and the secondary entry is broken (door doesnt latch and not secure). Only high rating can be applied to staff - all were very friendly. "
