“This was our second time staying at the house, and the owners have made some solid updates, which made our stay mostly better than before. The new counter top and cabinets were new and clean. The addition of a dish towel (though we brought our own, just in case) made clean up easier. We were really excited about the enclosed outdoor shower, but we were a little disappointed as the water pressure wasn't great and the hot and cold water cycled, which meant inconsistent temps. “Only 2 small blocks from the beach with easy access. Private with undeveloped lots to the back and one side. Great fenced in area with a pool (unheated) for your dog. Beds are a little small for larger adults. Modern appliances, very clean. Blackstone grill and outdoor refrigerator too. This was our second stay here and love it.”

“Charming house, right on the beach. Excellent location, close to all that Oak Island has to offer…summer concerts in the park a short walk away, the pier, many restaurants, marsh walks/fishing. Groceries about a 3 minute drive. Highly recco making the short drive to Southport, great food and views. Overall great stay. Owner was very responsive. Highly recommend for a wonderful, laid back beach vacation. ”

“Nous avons séjourné dans la maison de Rose et Larry pendant nos vacances. Nous étions 12 adultes et 9 enfants entre 2 et 8 ans. Tout le monde a adoré son expérience. Nous avons apprécié la proximité de la plage et la facilité d’accès. La plage est tranquille et nous avions beaucoup d’espace pour nos chaises; c’était presque une plage privée. La maison est très grande. Nous pouvions facilement préparer un repas pendant que d’autres personnes prenaient l’apéro. Les divisions font auddi en sorte……

“The house was great. It was only a block from the beach - about a one minute walk. View from the top porch of the ocean was great too. House was very clean and updated. Mike is super responsive to any issues. We had one minor issue come up (breaker tripped on bedroom power) and Mike responded immediately. ”
