    The interior of the cottage combines comfort with functionality, including an open living room with a wood-burning stove and direct access to a large terrace, ideal for morning coffee or al fresco dining. The cozy sleeping areas ensure a good night's sleep after the day's adventures.



    The outdoor area is characterized by a spacious terrace and scenic surroundings where you can enjoy the sunset or family fun. The southeast-facing slope provides majestic views and is the perfect place for those who love being out in nature.



    The area offers plenty of opportunities for activities such as hiking to Karlsø or along Bryrup Langsø. Canoes can be rented in Ry for trips on Gudenåen, and a trip on the vintage train from Bryrup to Vrads station is both charming and picturesque. Unfortunately, we visited the vacation home during the heat wave, and the temperature inside ended up exceeding 40°. Since we had our dog with us, we simply had to go home early because we were all roasting... Fortunately, Jeppe was very accommodating and eager to help us. Otherwise, the stay itself was very cozy, and it was nicely secluded, just as described. It wasn’t quite as isolated as we’d expected, and you have to be prepared for a few challenging steps—which were a bit of a challenge for us (and the dogs) with our short legs—but otherwise, it was great!

A truly wonderful experience in a lovely little house that has everything you need—and nothing more. Beautifully situated on a lovely wooded property, offering many delightful encounters with the local wildlife and birds. The existing "steps" up the slope could use a little TLC.
