I got the bedbugs bite so hard! All over my body!
I got bedbugs to bite in this hotel. I was back to the hotel to told them what happened to me. But they said I probably got bite on the bus or somewhere else. Not their business. I was checked out on time before 10 am. By the way, they will charge the luggage fee if you need to dispose of your luggage. And I saw the bugs when I awake at midnight. But it was so dark I can’t take photos immediately! I wasn’t known it’s will become so badly on my body. Just my truly experienced here. It made me feel so bad when I still traveling in Europe.

Was put in the loft which was super high, only accessible by a super steep ladder. Did not book that and was not asked. The entrance to getting to the hostel is also not very inviting, pitch black hallways and very spooky feeling at night when you don’t know the area. Only plus is the location

The hostel is more motivated towards the money, rather than providing the comfort. The beds aren’t clean and the insects on the bed will hurt very badly. And no response from the reception for the complaint of the same. Bed numbers 9 and 10 are on the top with the very steep iron steps, and this doesn’t make sense to put the beds over there just to make more money. I felt terrible

Stay Away!!
I stayed at Adagio Hostel but left after 1 night, and will lose the money for the rest of my stay. But it was not possible to stay. Impossible to sleep. Bed bugs! Body was itching all night. And reception was supposed to be closed at 21.00 but in the middle of the night (02.00) they checked in 3 guys who came in and made noise and talked. It took 1 hour for them to settle and get quiet. Then I tried to sleep 03.00 to 06.00 but woke up several times when I was bitten. At 06.00 I could not take the bites anymore and left the place and walked around the city for 3 hours in the winter cold, waiting for the reception to open at 09.00 so i could check out!!! Now I am in a nice hotel...thanks god. + Location is great! - Everything else

This location is prime! great value for a night st
This location is prime! great value for a night stay, right in the middle of the main sights. The hostal is well looked after and plenty of space to prepare meals. Nice view from the balcony. Defintiely super affordable. Note that this is next to Thai Hotel as sometimes it not very clear when you are looking for the address.

위치, 전망과 호스트, 시설까지 완벽. 거기에 싼 가격까지. 성 이슈테판 바실리카에서 3분컷이고, 진짜 전망은 엘리자베스 공원이 보이는 2층 베란다라서, 타임스퀘어 전광판에 올라선 느낌. 호스트님 너무 친절하셔서 10분만에 여행계획, 인생진로 상담까지 위트있게 해주셔서 (영어가 된다는 전제 하에) 정말 즐거웠습니다. 진짜 많이 배려해주셨고 시설도 혼자여행하기에 과분했습니다. 부다페스트를 간다면 꼭 다시 갈 겁니다.

Well b4 i booked i sent 2 msgs for the hostel informing them that im taking a 6 hrs bus to budapest all night and i will be arriving arnd 6:30am.the replies were thats fine you can use the common areas until check in time which was at 2.I was fine with it.I arrived that day arnd that time btw 6-6:30 it was -7 dgrs outside very freezing empty strts! "night shift guy" answrd then he let me enter the premises when i got to the floor lights were off he was probably sleeping stood and gave me that weird look and telling me " what do you want?" i said i have a reservation and i knw the check in is@ 2 he said yes and you can't stay here the common areas dont open before 8 ! Which is weird they are supposed to be open 24/7. If he wanted to sleep and didnt feel like working then thats a problem ! My phone battery was almost 5% to navigate for an open place at this time .he literally just snatched my luggages out of my hand and said you can keep them here and go i said where would i go at this early hr he said i dont know im confused( i dont knw whats confusing about that!) . I asked him if i could at least use the bathroom. Then i left it was still dark outside with no phone navigation no nothing .i found a nearby costa place which had opened i think i spent arnd 3 hrs sipping tea im glad they ddnt kick me out.i came back at 4 pm everyone was wonderfulll super nice lovely rooms/cmn areas met great people spent the night and left the other day.this review is only based on the rude guy

Good stay with an unfortunate event
The location, reception desk and the kitchen were amazing. I was able to store my food in the fridge safely and to enjoy my breakfast while watching the great view. However I am not satisfied with my bed and the smell in the bathrooms. First I was not sure but after having red dots all around my ankles and hands, I made sure that I got bit by bed bugs. Before I had booked my stay, I read a similar review about this issue but I thought it was one unlucky case. Unfortunately it happened to me too. I hope they fix this problem cause it’s somewhere that one can want to stay whenever s/he travels to Budapest, which I do quite often.

Imposible una mejor ubicación, bien!
Es un buen hostel. El personal es amable. La habitación es cómoda. La ubicación de los lockers no es la más práctica y estos lockers son muy pequeños... nadie tenía su mochila en ellos. Lo peor fue la ducha, el espacio era cómodo y limpio, pero la llave de la ducha te daba agua por segundos, entonces te bañabas con una mano pues tenías que mantener presionada la llave para tener agua. Las camas me parecieron cómodas y las áreas comunes son agradables.

Highly recommended.
Just left after a 3 night stay. This is my first time travelling on my own and staying in a hostel and I could not be more happy. Lovely, friendly staff. Very clean and tidy. Best things that have not been made enough of.... 1. Location location location. Right in the middle of it all. Right next to the first stoo for all of the Hop On tours. Perfect for exploring. 2. The building. I was stunned to find I was staying in such a gorgeous building. Just beautiful as is the rest of Budapest.

Va bene ma tante cose potrebbero essere migliorate
Struttura nuova, bella, grande e pulita... dalla gestione però un po' troppo approssimativa e non molto intelligente. Il portone d'ingresso era rotto, si apriva al massimo a metà... e inspiegabilmente nessuno l'ha sistemato. In cucina c'era caffè gratuito solo i primi giorni; una volta terminato, non lo hanno più rimesso. Il personale non è propriamente il ritratto della simpatia. Ci sono delle condizioni da rispettare un po' frustranti. Ad esempio, il check-out è piuttosto presto, già alle 10.00. Asciugamani, lucchetti e deposito bagagli dopo il check-out sono tutti a pagamento. Altri ostelli a Budapest li offrono gratuitamente, hanno il check-out almeno alle 11.00, e ti danno anche la colazione a buffet inclusa... per un prezzo pari o perfino inferiore a quello che si paga qui.
