Great place to stay in Budapest

This is a large completely modernized apartment that is nicely appointed. Close to convenience stores and metro. The property manager (Chris) was extremely responsive and helpful, providing extensive information about how to navigate the city and places to visit. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful apartment!

Check-in was easy and owner very communicative. On 5th floor so was really nice to have a balcony and the elevator. The apartment was spacious, clean and bright. Excellent location to see many sites in the city. If travelling by train use the Keleti train station which is walkable.

New year in Budapest

We had a pleasant stay, it's a really beautiful apartment. We spend new years eve here and also used the good equipped kitchen. The communication was really good, helpful and quick. Thank you!

A Wonderful Spot and a Fantastic Host! A GREAT value!

We really enjoyed our stay at Chris’ beautiful apartment in Budapest! We were traveling for the holidays with our two college-aged kids, and we enjoyed having some extra space to stretch out. The place was clean, well appointed, and nicely decorated. Our beds were comfortable - and we had a lovely time in beautiful Budapest. The location is convenient to everything, but on a very busy street and a deceptively bleak exterior. Don’t be fooled by the outside of the building - once you’re inside, the apartment is elegant and feels very safe and comfortable. You will not believe the view! Sunrise and sunset will take your breath away. I think it’s important to note though, that the exterior, facade, and entry/common spaces of the building are a bit urban and run down. But, we embraced that as part of the charm of the building AND of Budapest in general. Traveling by train, it’s a very short walk to the building. And, venturing into the city - everything is writhin walking distance to lovely restaurants, and the sites of the city. Chris our host was AMAZING - checking in on us regularly and answering our questions immediately. I would highly recommend this spot for adventurous and open minded travelers with great taste. You really get a lot of bang for your buck at this place! Thank you Chris, for sharing your lovely home with us!

First-rate apartment

This is an exceptional apartment. It's spacious, elegant, bright, and well-equipped. We were four people, including a sprightly 91-year old woman, and we easily shared the space for five days and nights. The common living and dining room is magnificent, decorated with original art and opening onto a terrific balcony. The apartment has very high ceilings and several large windows, so is bright both morning and evening. The kitchen and both bathrooms are furnished with modern appliances, and well-equipped with most everything one might need. We didn't use the dishwasher, washing machine or dryer, but they look brand new. The host has also thoughtfully provided some of the little sundry items that a travelling family might need in a pinch. The bedrooms are tastefully furnished, and high quality bed linens and towels are provided. Although the apartment building is on one of Budapest's major roads, the apartment faces a side road and is quiet and very peaceful. It's located just a short walk from Keleti train station, the subway, bus stops, and grocery stores. The host always responded quickly and kindly to my many questions, and offered some great suggestions. This apartment was easily our favourite accommodation during my family's recent trip to Europe. It shouldn't be missed.
