The property is relatively central once you figure out the metro system. Staff area friendly. The room was poor. It hadn't been dusted in awhile. I dusted the heated towel rack(that didn't work), the lamp, and the fan hood as they clearly hadn't been done for some time. The bed was Terrible! The mattress was some soft memory foam thing that was really bad, pillows were awful, and sheets, adequate. Towels were small and some were see through. Staff were friendly but it took forever to get checked in. Then there was an error as they made us pay when we had already paid. The caught the mistake but didn't reverse the charge until I asked 2 days later for a receipt. The internet was horrible. They said it was working but even in the common areas I had trouble getting a connection to get other work done. I would not recommend.

Good choice

Excellent location, 5 mins walk from the metro , Very friendly and courteous staff. Rooms were spacious and nice beds and pillow. Hotel is located close to many really nice restaurants. Would stay there again.

A wonderful week in Budapest

The apartment was spacious, clean and well provisioned. The host Ava had already heated the apartment for us so it was great when we arrived. Our host was extremely helpful and the apartment location was perfect , right near all we had wanted to visit with plenty of restaurants , pubs and cafe's nearby. We would love to visit again ! Thank you Ava for a lovely experience !

Lots to Like

A quirky and old school reminder of Budapest's past. It is right beside the national museum (which is another are of major renos, which start at 730) and near everywhere you want to be. The ceiling was 15' high with a chandelier, fridge, nice bathroom with killer water pressure for showers. Not a hotel, more like a pension and Y, lots of things are happening around you. Highly recommended.

I traveled with my wife and 13-year-old daughter to Budapest in the summer of 2025. The Harmonia Palace is on the periphery of Budapest’s city center. The reasons I chose the Harmonia Palace are: - Each unit is spacious. There were three of us, and I wanted us to be comfortable and have our own space. There is a small kitchenette and a table with four seats for dining. We stayed in the Jade Heritage suite, which had two enormous windows that let in plenty of natural light. - The building used to be a duke’s mansion. They preserved the classic design but renovated it luxuriously. I really liked the interior design. Location-wise, it’s not in the very center, but it’s conveniently close to the Hungarian National Museum and Central Market Hall. One big advantage of its location is that it’s only a 3-minute walk from the airport shuttle stop. I find rideshares and taxis in some parts of Europe a bit shady, so I always try to use the airport shuttle when available. Harmonia Palace is just one stop away from the airport if you take the 100E bus, which also runs throughout the night. The reasons I did not give Harmonia Palace five stars are: - We arrived in Budapest after 9:30 pm. Their check-in hours are 9 am - 9:30 pm, so we had to pay €40 for late check-in. I’ve never had to pay for late check-in. Since the building used to be a mansion, the entrance is a gigantic double door that opens to an interior courtyard, where noise easily echoes. - It’s not in the very center

Lovely hotel - full of charm and character. Very spacious apartment , staff friendly and helpful, good location (quiet street but walking distance of bars restaurants market, metro just around the corner) . Just really enjoyed the vibe of the place. Would stay again if we're ever back in Budapest.
