Reasable location bad experience

This hotel is really bad hotel. It’s dirty, fridge does not work, dirty pillows and the breakfast is really poor. Hotel workers are arrogant! In the kitchen is a mess and nobody cares to clean up. I have stayed for 2 nights and on the second night there was no eggs, no cups for juice( coloured water), no cheese and coffee was really bad. Brad was not fresh and mostly sweet bans.

Hotel sem manutenção e velho

Não recomendo. Hotel sem manutenção. Frigobar não funciona. Toalhas velhas, ásperas, desfiando. Fui me enxugar, simplesmente rasgou ao meio! Tudo muito a desejar. Os sucos do café da manhã, pior que Tang. Não tem secador de cabelos no banheiro. Parece que os funcionários não estão nem aí para os problemas listados. Não volto nunca mais para este hotel.

OK but better options available

Decent location, but not of the standard expected for the money. Great power shower, safe and air conditioning, but overall grubby and shabby throughout. Breakfast staff chat among themselves and don't even say hello. When I asked reception for options to get to the airport, they didn't even have a number for a taxi firm, let alone links with Tienda Leon (shuttle coach), which I was told to see to myself. When I saw the hotels I could have stayed in for the same price or a little more, I kicked myself!

En general el hotel está bien pero debe mejorar en la iluminación del baño de la habitación ( imposible afeitarse x falta de iluminación) , no funcionaban los veladores y desconectado el frigobar .

O hotel parou no tempo; já havia me hospedado lá há mais de 5 anos atrás e era outra coisa. Hoje aparentemente até a equipe que trabalha lá sabe das condições do hotel e ficam com vergonha... Sobre os quartos: luzes que não funcionam, paredes sujas, poeira embaixo dos móveis, rachaduras visíveis, toalhas rasgadas, mofo nos banheiros e frigobar que não funciona.

Great staff make for a good stay

the staff are very friendly which compensates for the lack of maintenance and missing light bulbs in halls and stair well and dodgy electrics, non working refrigerators and the filthy gym full of broken machines. The pool did not look clean enoughto swim in, although there were Argentinians in it. If you do not need the pool and gym, then it is great. Despite the problems we would stay there again as the location is so central and walking distance to many things, including the Galeria Central food court and Florida St. Street Tango dancers. we stayed prior and after a cruise to Antarctica.make sure you ask for a room above 4th floor as street noise can be a problem lower down.

Great Value, Location and rooftop pool

I enjoyed my stay at Galerias hotel. i got a good deal at around $70USD a night which included breakfast (we showed up 30 mins before it was over so didn't really get a good selection). The location in microcenter right off florida was excellent, near all the top shopping and good dining options and all the big city conveniences. we were able to get uber to anywhere we needed only thing is that they aren't allowed to pick up in front the hotel (walk one block up). the value for money was the main driver plus the hotel was relatively modern and very spacious. Air conditioning was very good (very hot summer in BA!) The rooftop pool was a good way to beat the heat in the BA summer, with amazing views of the BA skyline. Strangely enough no towels out there! We did encounter a few issues but no deal breakers: wifi a bit slow requested extra towels and we were given torn up towels (!) certain parts of the bathroom were rusted over some gaps in the floor and screws sticking out fridge did not work requested an iron which never arrived I did also spend a night at another hotel a block away and their breakfast was much better (included as well). To summarize, i would stay here again and for what you are paying temper your expectations.

Excelente ubicación, amplias habitaciones, excelente y abundante desayuno. Limpieza 10 puntos. No me gustó q no pudiera imprimir mis boarding pass, porque no tenían tinta, la pileta es muy fría y que no tenga estacionamiento o convenio con alguna cochera.

Centrally located with good breakfast options

Stay was good overall. Room was clean and continental breakfast options were good, it was possible to check bags in before check-in and after check-out. Front staff, however, were disappointing at times. For example, though laundry service is advertised, I had to use a service down the street, check-in before 3:00 p.m. was not an option, staff were unfamiliar with options for getting to the airport other than taking a cab, and staff could not manage to help printing out my return boarding pass.

1 star,not 4 star - READ THIS!!

There has to be some level of corruption involved in this hotel rating as 4 stars... My room had no hot water, 4 light globes not working, cold shower in darkness, the safe was broken, bathroom fan sounds like a NASCAR, the room window over looked a dirty courtyard, the gym had no lights when i went for 6am gym sess, i tripped over... there are three holes on the walls, lose wires etc. they either need to sack the maintenance man - or hire one!!! I’ve checked out after one day and cutting my losses of $350 instead of staying the 3 nights more i’m scheduled for.
