Great historic lake camp in the Downeast Lakes wilderness
"We had a great week of canoeing, fishing, swimming, and exploring the surrounding wilderness. The house was rustic but clean and well maintained. Ethan was an excellent host and provided us with helpful information both before and during our stay."

"As of June 2024, the hotel was very new and in great condition. The main building with the cafe was very nicely decorated. The staff were great. The only downside is that there is nothing within walking distance, other than UMaine, but the hotel itself is a training ground for their hospitality ..."
