“The area is beautiful. The hotel is very charming. I would give this 5 stars if the beds and pillows were nice. They were very hard and the coils in the mattress are loud when you sleep. Pillows very flat.”

“The menu in the bar for lunch had a great selection, however, what was produced for both my wife and myself left a lot to be desired, chips burned and not a great taste, same for my wife, we ordered 2 different dishes and to be honest we should have sent both back, it was that bad ”

“Rooms were brilliant with everything you need for your stay, really comfortable beds and spotless clean. Saff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was great and plentiful. Didn't eat in the restaurant but the food looked amazing, will definitely be trying this the next time we stay.”

“A great base to explore the peninsula. The Spa was excellent, we booked an amazing treatment each and got free caps for the pool. Lovely view at breakfast even though we were there at end of January and cloudy sky. Breakfast was just okay, self service and basic. The bar area is fun and good range of evening food. The Saturday wedding crowd really took over most communal spaces. We were unimpressed with our room, no air con which is fine for most people at that time of year. No mini fridge. No……

“Very clean room, modern, comfy beds and lovely fluffy towels. Only downside is the noise outside which really has nothing to do with the rooms, but apart from that it was lovely. Added bonus to be able to use the ballyliffin leisure facilities. Great wee find”
