「Wonderful place to stay, quiet and it had everything we wanted, home from home and so many local walks, and dog friendly too.」

「We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, wish we could have stayed longer. The food was very good, the room was large and clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.」

「Such a neat location! Wish we could have stayed longer. It was a rushed overnight in transit between sights. The host was so kind. Appreciated the clean room and the breakfast options.」

「i have already paid for my breakfast，but they still charge me 4 ponds」

「Great parking. We didn’t realise when we booked that the pub would shut at 8 pm on the Sunday which was disappointing but they gave us a key to enter the building and to come and go as we wanted. The bedroom was comfortable and the breakfast was very nice.」

「outstanding service, unbelievable friendly personnel」

「Stayed during owners transition, that's why the kitchen served only breakfast and it was amazing! The same helpful staff. Short business stay, I visit a lot of hotels and I do appreciate smaller ones. Room had a nice design, comfortable bed and modern bathroom, all very clean and well kept.」

「Room was clean and tidy on arrival Staff went above and beyond very helpful nothing was to much Breakfast was amazing lots of choice whatever your taste and all the food that came out looked good liked the fact juice and pasties where available as well as tea/ coffee and toast. We took our dog and again the staff order water and happily gave him a sausage for his breakfast. A lovely hotel in centre of Britain definitely worth a stop over」

「Breakfast was good and the lady tending it was very sweet. Front desk staff was very rude. Pretty bad first impression. Also — really looking forward to the hot tub and but again front desk staff had no idea what I was talking about despite it being listed as an amenity on the website. Kinda rots after a long hike on Hadrians wall. Carpeting throughout was old, outdated, and very grungie. Overall, very mid.」

「The staff were very helpful, the room clean and the bed comfortable.」

「The room was functional, spacious but a little tired. Staff was great, the breakfast a treat, but the restaurant wasn't worth the cost - 3 star fare at 4 star prices. Location was excellent, and parking secure. We'd go back if ever wanting to explore Hadrian's wall again.」

「Room large and very clean. Lovely small hotel with a beautiful restaurant. Very quiet at night. Highly recommended 」

「Decent sized double room with better than usual lighting! Really comfortable bed and good shower, albeit on the small side! Off road free parking is always a bonus and they do a full breakfast if required! Everyone very friendly!!」
