This hotel has just been taken over by a new company and definitely needs some love and attention. However the staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was of good quality. Bed in our room was a double despite being plenty of room for a king which would have been nicer. Good location for visiting lots of places in Suffolk and would definitely recommend a visit to the Guinness Inn.

A lovely location and great facilities. Great staff and bar area had a lovely atmosphere. Morning breakfast was delicious with attentive staff. Rooms were very quiet, hotel had a lift which is very convent as the steps are steep to the 2nd floor. The rooms are a little tired and the bathroom window privacy screening is in desperate need of replacement. Kettle is completely scaled up and cups were also dirty so this needs to be addressed. Ok Value if the above were dealt with then it would be good value. I would stay here again even so as the bed was very comfortable and overall had a lovely stay.

We stayed for one night in an annex. Room was comfortable and clean with a few minor niggles e.g. the lock on the bathroom. Breakfast was a good choice of cold and hot options. Worth booking in advance for a discount. Location was good, easy walk into Mildenhall where there are plenty of cafes and restaurants. We would stay again if in the area.

My partner and I stayed for 3 nights at start of may .the positives were nice location , very spacious room ,powerful shower , excellent breakfast , pleasant bar area and accommodating staff. Negatives some mould on shower basin and dining room area didn’t appear to have been hoovered overnight on our last day . Overall we enjoyed our stay
