Property has been recently refreshed with brand new kitchen cabinetry, cooking appliances, completely renovated main bathroom all new tiling, vanity, toilet and shower. New kitchen including built in oven, Induction cooktop, Dishwasher, Microwave, Air-fryer, Nespresso pod machine.

Surrounded by peppermint trees and located one street back from peaceful Geographe bay and easy access to town, Dunsborough lakes golf course, and tourism spots this property is fitted out with relaxation in mind. This is an older style home in a fantastic location perfect for families and friends looking for a peaceful getaway.


The home can accommodate up to 6 guests, with four bedrooms, two bathrooms and two toilets. Please note LINEN (sheets pillowcases and towels) IS PROVIDED

Downstairs comprises of 3 bedrooms 2 with queen beds the other has 2 single beds, a combined laundry and 2nd bathroom with separate toilet, outside is a covered patio area with BBQ large grassed fenced backyard and fruit trees.

Upstairs comprises open plan living/dining/kitchen, master bedroom with queen bed, bathroom and balcony with BBQ. TV DVD iPod dock etc located in living area.

Pets allowed on application, pets are not allowed on the furniture or in the bedrooms.

Beautiful, relaxed home with a backyard that opens onto nature. We had possums and kookaburras drop by, which made it extra special for the kids. Luxurious bedding and an easy stroll to the beach. Such a great family spot. Dave the host was very responsive and accommodating. Would definitely return.

Are stay was amazing, we had 3 dogs with as and there was ample of room. The newly renovated upstairs area was very nice and Dave equipped the house out with all the essentials you need and more !Its an ideal home away from home and throwing distance to the ocean.with breathtaking views. Would definitely stay here again x

Basic is ok, but dirty mouldy and dusty also. Price steep for age/cleanliness /comparable properties

Good communication from owner. Unit in front completely renovated throughout and new everything going for around same price! Felt ripped off. If you are allergic to dust/mould I would stay away. The place was cleaner when we left than when we arrived. I have pics. Not a secure garden for pets despite being advertised as secure-garden bed built up to half height of fence, rickety old gates. Taped up holes, insect droppings on windowsills in kitchen. Mould smell near hole in kitchen sink (where cupboard been taped up), laundry and front bedroom also smelt like mould. I wounded if the new paint job was a cover up? Old furniture , mattress not comfy, tiny lounge. We aren’t too fussy - been in plenty of beach shack stays before but felt damp inside after rains. Broken asbestos fence on one side. One street from beach, easy walk.

I feel the description was fully well on the mark. Great location in a quiet location. The only negative is that the place really needed a good clean. I’m stumped about what we need to pay for cleaning. Windows were dirty and there was cobwebs both inside and out, however this could be a positive for anyone looking for a family holiday with kids. We still thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely getaway

Location location location! We had a beautiful holiday with beach walks, swims and exploring the south west. The house suited our needs but isn’t flash but is how it was described. The possum visitors were fun for us!

Great location but house is tired.

The location is fantastic. We walked into town every day for coffee and lunch, and across the road for a swim. The rest of our experience was sub par. The front door is very old and swollen, making it very difficult to open and shut without brute force. There was sand on all of the downstairs beds and floors. The window literally fell off when I tried to close it. All of the fly screens, bar two, had holes in them, meaning my 8mo old daughter and I were repeatedly bitten at nighttime, before we realised how the mozzies were getting in. There were 4xcans of bug spray in the kitchen cupboard - surely some funds could be poured into preventing the bugs from actually entering the premises by fixing the ancient fly screens? No carbon monoxide monitor, exhaust van/range hood, or working smoke detector upstairs. Not even a fire blanket. Really? I understand that this isnt a permanent residence, but am so annoyed that even basic attention to safety has been disregarded here. Broken lock x2 on the sliding doors. And finally, I specifically asked months ago when I booked if this home would be suitable for my little girl and was assured that it was. It was only when I thought to ask one week ago, if we needed to bring a portacot, did the owner reply yes, and in addition, bring a babygate and linen. FYI we arrived to discover a whole linen cupboard stuffed with mismatched linen... Gorgeous location but not impressed with the state of the place.
