Poorly maintained. Difficultly with the key box access; unable to shower until the evening of day 2 of our stay - no water pressure/water in shower; dirty kitchen appliances- excess food still remaining on sandwich maker/pans etc; broken broom; had to make up top bunk bed. Very disappointed outside bathroom wasn’t mentioned in advertising of cabin. Cabins generally have bathrooms inside.

Misleading description and not clean

“A seperate large bathroom and laundry” in the description of this property fails to say you have to go outside the back door down a few steps and along 2-3 metres to an outside amenities area. I have stayed in cabins in other caravan parks NONE of which have had an outside bathroom. When we arrived at the property we couldn’t get the key to work to open this outside bathroom. I called the property concierge who came within 5 minutes to open the door and show us the correct key. When I said the property description did not say it was an outside bathroom I was told that was what everyone else had/understood and walked off without any attempt to discuss the issue. Customer service? Non existent. The second issue was the cleanliness of this property. Before using anything in the kitchen (the glassware in particular) it was necessary to wash first. The floors and kitchen table felt sticky and the carpets in the bedrooms were not well vacuumed. The outside table was dirty, the railing on the verandah wobbly and unsafe. The only thing honest about the description of this property is its proximity to the beach. I did not expect luxury for the price but I did expect cleanliness. I also expect truthfulness from listings. Interestingly a paid ad for this property popped up on my Instagram during my stay with glowing 5 star reviews which I fail to see how they can be truthful.

Lovely family getaway
