Paid and booked on arrival was told they cancelled our room were told to go away trying to get a refund was extremely difficult

Hi Haydn, This was not the case - you had altered a date change without going through the third party and therefore your dates were rebooked by another guest.

It was quiet, all you could hear was the birds. The only negative was, the wifi was virtually unusable in the room.

For a "luxury" spa the property was fairly basic. One specific complaint is the lack of lighting to assist in walking down the driveway to the bar, etc.

Loved it!!
Absolutely loved this place! It was quiet & we had such a relaxing anniversary weekend. The spa & outside couches made it super cute. We ordered breakfast & had it delivered to our door & are sat outside to eat while in the softest robes they provided. It was incredible!

Great location- next door to our favourite Brewery. Room was great - comfy bed, twin spa, spacious room. Service was great! We had breakfast twice and it was delicious! We will be back!

Defiantly would not give it a rating above three.If the couples on either side of us knew what we heard between 9.30 and 2am I'm sure they would be blushing. Yes that was me who yelled at you at 2am. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful nights sleep then this is NOT the place for you.

Just a perfect, relaxing getaway!
The accommodation was perfect. It was so private that we felt like we were the only ones staying there.. didn't see any hotel staff until we left, but didn't need to. Will be going back regularly :)

Perfectly Relaxed Weekend Stay
The stay was great! The accommodation is beautiful and all the little things have been well thought out. The only set back we thought was the narrow walls which separate the rooms :D

Perfect romantic getaway
Truly an awesome place to stay. Many hotels advertise a "2 person" spa that you need to be a contortionist to get into, the spas here are large and comfy. Sitting on the balcony looking into the bush while soaking in the tub sipping bubbles was just bliss. Great staff and facilities and having the day spa on site to go for their lush treatments, no need to go anywhere else.

Cute lodge in Yallingup bushland
Lovely staff and location. Delicious breakfast. However, I would recommend staying in the more expensive suites as we were in the Semillion, right next to Chardonnay (cheapest ones) and could hear absolutely everything our neighbours were doing. A bit awkward!

We arrived at 5pm to find the reception was closed but a letter had been left to say we had been upgraded which was a nice surprise Facilities very good, but no staff around until following morning and as we were the only guests it was quite unnerving to be in such a large building on our own which made us feel insecure.

Lovely rooms, great staff, quiet location
Visited last weekend for the first time and was extremely happy with all aspects of the visit. A friendly welcome from Emilie who showed us to our room. A huge bed, verandah with a spa set up for us, and plenty of amenities to make us feel comfortable. We stayed for 2 nights and couldnt be more positive about the staff, the quality of the massages in the Day Spa, we ordered breakfast on the last morning which was delicious, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. There is also a small brewery as you head in to the lodge. They have a great array of beers and had an acoustic duet on the Saturday afternoon which was a great touch- felt like you were just having a beer in someones backyard. The location is smack bang between Dunsborough and Yallingup so easy to get around and see the South West.

Overall a nice place to stay... However due to the rooms being so close together, there is little privacy for you or other guests... The walls being rather thin means you hear everything going on next door.... Not ideal especially when you are in such a secluded part of Marget River in a beautiful setting. But overal still a good stay...

Cosy but let down by details
Room was warm and cosy when I arrived. Felt very secluded as I didn't see any staff the whole stay (not a bad thing) and only two other guests. Where they dropped the ball.....no soap in the bathroom, a light shone all night through the courtyard window and I got to listen to the movie the neighbours were watching. I.e. Walls were not well soundproofed. Fortunately they didn't stay up too late.

Beautiful setting in bushland - nice and quiet
Wonderful room with balcony overlooking the bush. A spa that was daily filled stayed warm for hours on the balcony. The staff were invisible but could be contacted if they were required which made the place feel like your own.

Stayed here for a wedding, when we got into our room we were blown away. It was so cute and cosy, I loved the faux fireplace! My boyfriend and I left the wedding early just to come back and relax! The only problem I had was when we were sleeping there was some weird light near the back door that kept me up all night but other than it was amazing! (Small note to bring an eye mask if you're a light sleeper like me) This place is so amazing that we went home and booked another weekend away! The staff were so friendly and we both really enjoyed ourselves.

Beautiful retreat
Beautiful location, friendly staff that just couldn't do enough for us. We stayed at yallingup retreat for a wedding and were offered a lift to the venue by the staff. Didn't have time for any treatments but would definitely go back when we have more time. Thank you Jenny and Stacey for a lovely weekend. Hope to see you again soon.

Nice hotel would be great in winter . But a 40 degree day with no air conditioning just a fan as cooling not for me again . In winter I would definitely stay .

Thanks for your feedback! We now have air-conditioning in every spa suite making it great even on those hot days and with the pebble fireplaces snug in winter :)

Amazing winter getaway
We visited yallingup spa retreat in the middle of winter. The retreate is very homely and warm, an informal reception set the tone of the stay where we were made to feel more like family than just guests. The chardonay sweet was minimal but very nice (very thin walls). Absalutely spotless ensuite and cosy bedrom, the outdoor private spa(whilst the motor was a little noisy) gave us a view with enough privacy to feel comfortable, kick back with a glass of red and relax. We really got the feel of getting away from it all and relaxing. Definately be back and highly recommend this establishment

Nice homely room, very comfortable
We found the room very comfortable and relaxing, the spa was great and we liked that we didn't have to use chemicals, the bath robes were so soft and smelt lovely. The mini bar was stocked with everything we needed and more at reasonable prices. The breakfast was nice. Definitely recommend for a romantic night.
