Stayed here for about a week in 2 different rooms. Our first room had great amenities but had an awful, stale smell. The second room was very cozy. Staff was very helpful and on point. Facility does not have laundry services as stated on hotels.com

Top rate at the bottom of the world

Very accommodating! Extended our stay due to illness, at an upcharge rate. No laundry on premises. Walls are very thin, so could hear other travelers. Free breakfast included see all the fresh food eggs we could eat!

We walked around the city, Hotel Forjadores was considered to be one of the best hostels around. It’s located near downtown where everywhere was conveniently accessible on foot. José was a great host to help us with transfers from the ferry at night and to the airport. He also gave us tips about where to go / what to do around the city. Breakfast was self-served and provided all day long. We like the breakfast room where we could meet people and hangout.

Very comfortable and clean throughout. Quiet. Smiley staff. Simple breakfast. Walking distance to a good bistro in town. Downsides - I asked for a pickup from the port area, which was confirmed, but they forgot.Fortunately a kind local gave me a lift. My room was cancelled at the last minute, they claimed my credit card failed. Ridiculous, they should have just asked for another one. I booked again via Expedia. They claimed the card failed again, even though I could see the transaction had been approved. They did say come in anyway and when I got there, the transaction had gone through ok. There was nothing wrong with my credit card as I had used the same card both times. Evidently a fault their side and which caused some inconvenience.

What’s unique about this hotel is that the breakfast is included and the food is out all day long. We can even cook in the kitchen. One day we couldn’t find any restaurants open and we had to eat food at the hotel. Luckily we could cook something simple at the hotel. Very appreciated.

Como en casa!!

La atención y amabilidad del dueño es inmejorable, te hace sentir como en casa y te facilita información y servicio de taxis para poder visitar el lugar. El hotel tiene una buena ubicación y es muy acogedor. Dispone de cocina donde poder cocinar y sala donde comer y cenar e interactuar con el resto de huéspedes. La habitación era bonita y limpia. El desayuno bufé dispone de variedad suficiente.
