Pasamos una semana en frebte de Picos de Europa en casa de Maria Eugenia. Inigualable sitio y anfitriona.Para poder hacer multiples rutas por la zona sin coger el coche y los niños suletos por la aldea. Tienen una queseria con quesos top. Muy recomendable

Una Estancia Magnifica
Una casita en una aldea tranquila y acurrucada en el corazón de los Picos de Europa. Consta de dos plantas, cocina-salón, baño completo y dormitorio con dos cañas en la planta de abajo y dos dormitorios, uno inmenso, con baño completo en la superior. Unas vistas magníficas y descanso y Paz aseguradas. El acceso a la aldea es por una carretera sinuosa y algunos tramos estrecha pero una vez la recorres dos veces te haces a ella y no es problema organizarse con algún cruce ocasional con otros vehículos. Luego una vez en la aldea debes subir una empinada calle de 60 metros hasta el final para llegar al alojamiento donde en frente hay una explanada donde dejar el vehículo. Tienes a 5 Km el pueblo de Arenas que tiene De todo para abastecerse y punto de salida para muchas excursiones. La propietaria, Eugenia, es un encanto. Amable y siempre dispuesta a ayudarte y ofrece buenos consejos sobre la zona y rutas que hacer. Regenta la quesería y no dudéis en probar sus quesos y visitarla si tenéis ocasión.

Schönes Haus, aber ein paar Makel.
Das Haus liegt in einem sehr kleinen Ort ohne Infrastruktur. Man hat eine sehr schöne Aussicht auf die Berge. Die Schlafzimmer sind groß, die Betten entsprechen dem lokalen Standard. Im Keller ist eine Käserei mit einem Kühlraum der mit einem hörbaren Kühlaggregat gekühlt wird. Das Haus ist sehr hellhörig und man bekommt jede Regung vom Nachbarn mit. Der Wohn- und Essbereich ist klein und für 6 Personen nicht geeignet. Wir waren nur 4, daher ging es. Die Küche ist schlecht ausgestattet. Es fehlt an vielen Dingen. Es hat z.B. keine Messer und nur 4 scharfe Küchenmesser. Keine Weingläser und vieles mehr auch nicht. Keine Kaffeemaschine, kein Nudelsieb usw. Es hat aber eine Spühlmaschine und eine Waschmaschine. Im Garten hat es einen Tisch und Platz für 6 Personen an Kunststoffmöbeln. Wir haben aber nicht draußen gegessen, da es unheimlich viele Fliegen gibt. Klar wir sind auf dem Land und nebenan gibt es Hühner, Schafe , Kühe, usw. Wer einen Bauerhofflair mag, ist hier am richtigen Ort. Man wird sogar von drei Hähnen geweckt. Wir haben viele Ausflüge in die Berge und ans Meer (40 Minuten) gemacht. Im nächsten Ort ca. 6 km entfernt kann man einkaufen und Essen gehen. Man sollte reservieren oder rechtzeitig vor 8 Uhr dort sein, denn es haben viele Leute hunger.

Vistas espectaculares
La casa está genial, las vistas también y la ubicación perfecta. Cerca de Covadonga, pero en un pueblo muy tranquilo (Berodia).

Ha sido una experiencia super bonita. Maria Eugenia es muy simpática y cercana y la casa es muy acogedora. Está en un entorno rural y tranquilo ideal para desconectar. El paisaje de la zona es espectacular con las montañas de picos de europa. Un pueblo tranquilo y con gente muy amable y cercana. Un 10 la experiencia.

En el corazón de los Picos de Europa, en el conocido concejo de Cabrales, se ubica esta propiedad, perfecta para realizar excursiones tan emblemáticas como la Senda del Cares o la Vega del Urriellu. Vivienda espaciosa, limpia y bien equipada. Muy recomendable.

SIMPLEMENTE GENIAL
Estamos muy acostumbrados a alquilar este tipo de alojamientos y he de decir, que cuesta mucho encontrar una casa tan limpia y unas camas tan cómodas como en esta casa. La dueña, Mª Eugenia fue muy atenta con nosotros y con nuestros hijos. La barbacoa es compartida con la otra casa pero en nuestro caso, no fue ningún problema. Sin lugar a dudas, volveríamos.

Excellent chalet ins lovely friendly village in the hills- great for walking & cycling and beautiful scenery whether it rains shines or otherwise. Maria was a fantastic host and her cheese was delightful- highly recommended.

Nice flat as perfect "basecamp" for hiking tours
The flat is perfectly located for hiking tours in the Picos de Europa and the Sierra north of them. The small mountain village is very tranquilizing. The main bedroom (the only one we have used) is really charming. The only weak point is the equipment of the kitchen which is a bit basic.

Kleines Haus in ruhiger und schöner Lage
Das Haus liegt im Dorf und man hat einen schönen Blick auf die Berge, Anfahrt zum Dorf ist sicher nicht jedermanns Sache (steil, eng und kurvig). Im Haus leider wenig Geschirr, kein Grillbesteck und es wurde auch kein Handtuch gewechselt. Vermieterin ist sehr nett, Verständigung nicht so einfach ohne Spanisch .. Teilnahme am Dorffest, prima...

La casa se encuentra en un sitio privilegiado, en medio de las montañas. A poco más de una hora de Fuente Dé y 35 de las playas. La casa es tal cual se muestra en el anuncio. Solo decir que los colchones no son los mejores que he dormido, pero está muy bien equipada. Volveremos.

Fantastic base for Picos
Located In a very very secluded village. Easy access to hikes and other attractions. Maria is a fabulous host. She waited till late evening for our arrival. You will have an advantage if you speak Spanish. You can get fish right outside the door from a woman who drives a van up the hill in the morning full of great stuff. One thing to mention is the very narrow and steep road that leads from the main road to the village. For us it added to the charm....and it is sooo quiet with the most spectacular Mountain Views. Again. Thank for a great stay Maria.

Schöne Haushälfte mit Bergsicht
Das geräumige Haus liegt sehr schön in einem Bergdorf mit Kühen, Ziegen und Hühnern. Von fast allen Zimmern und von der Terrasse hat man eine hervorragende Sicht in die Picos. Die Ausstattung ist komplett (Spülmaschine, W-Lan, Föhn etc.). Nur Besteck und Geschirr sind etwas knapp bemessen, für vier Personen aber ausreichend. Mit dem Auto kommt man von hier schnell zu den Ausgangspunkten für schöne Wanderungen. Insgesamt eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft für Bergfreunde. Zum positiven Eindruck trägt auch die nette Vermieterin María Eugenia bei, die unter dem Haus in der Käserei arbeitet und auch welchen verkauft.

Berodia stay
Very nice place ,very nice host ,beautiful views ,a little scary last 3 Kms road to reach Berodia , very close to Picos de Europa and Covadonga ,people in Berodia were ver friendly , Maria Eugenia ,the host was available for any questions , very nice host , there is a cheese factory with very good goat cheese , will stay here again .

Große schöne Wohnung mit toller Aussicht auf die Berge
Besonders das große Schlafzimmer ist romantisch, die Wohnung geht über 2 Etagen, zwei Badezimmer. Wir haben sie nur zu zweit genutzt, ist aber reichlich Platz da für eine Familie. Die Vermieterin ist sehr herzlich. Die Wohnung liegt sehr ruhig, ideal zum Wandern, kleiner Garten mit Tisch und Stühlen dabei, ein Grill.

Merveilleuse région
Le gîte de Maria-Eugeunia est parfait à de nombreux égards: authentique, construit et aménagé avec du bon matériel, bien entretenu, 2 sdb, 2 chambres doubles spacieuses et la chambre 2 lits simples ok. Le salon est spacieux et les fauteuils gds et confortables. Seul Bémol : la cuisine et jardin = petits, peu de vaisselle et pas de gde table pour la terrasse ni de transats. Maria-Eugeunia est charmante, très serviable et tjs là pour nous donner des conseils et/ou informations. Ses fromages sont par ailleurs délicieux! La vue des chambres du gîte est incroyable. C'est un endroit calme et idéal entre Los Picos de Europa et la mer (Plages entre Posada et Llanes à env. 1/2h).

Beautiful and quaint
The home is very nice, clean and comfortable. There was plenty of space for our family of 4. Two full bathrooms made it nice. The view of the mountains was astounding. Absolutely gorgeous and worth the extra few minutes to drive from town. Maria was a very kind and gracious hostess. Don't hesitate to book this property.

A little slice of paradise
The photos don't lie - this is a beautiful house in a beautiful place. We had the most wonderful two weeks exploring this fabulous area, with the gentle help of Maria Eugenia when we needed it, and came back totally relaxed and refreshed. The villagers are all amazingly friendly and it's amazing how hand gestures and limited Spanish can get you by. Maria Eugenia's famous cheese is as wonderful as everyone says and it was fascinating to watch all the goings on, from the cheese-making itself, to the scything and grass collecting from our grandstand position. Our bedroom was perfect, with mountain views from all the windows. And yet you're only half an hour from the coast and about 45/50 minutes from Ribadesella, which is a lovely seaside resort where we organised canoeing down the River Sella. Posada is the nearest market town about 20 minutes away, with everything you will need, whilst Arenas de Cabrales is only ten minutes with lovely restaurants and beautiful walks up the river. The only bad part is coming home!!

Excellent accomodation
With mountain views, this is a great place to stay for adventures in the Picos mountains. Maria is a lovely person, willing to help in any situation. The wi-fi connection is amazing in the middle of a mountain range.

Casa acogedora, tranquila y cómoda
Una experiencia inolvidable. La casa era justo lo que buscábamos: un lugar tranquilo donde poder descansar y cerca de muchos pueblos interesantes de los Picos de Europa y a media hora de Covadonga y Cangas de Onís y también de Llanes. Las vistas desde las ventanas son de foto y la casa muy cómoda. La acogida fue espectacular. María Eugenia nos atendió de manera muy familiar y con mucha confianza. Aun llegando tarde y de noche, nos esperó en la puerta para darnos las llaves y con la casa ya caliente para poder dormir a gusto. ¡Hemos tomado nota para repetir!

Lo que se ve en las fotos es lo que hay, tanto en lo referente al paisaje como la casa. Merecen especial mención los dormitorios del primer piso y el entorno, que es espectacular. La casera ha sido muy atenta y ha respondido siempre que la hemos llamado. El único pero es que la cocina no tiene horno.

Tranquil home in the heart of cheese country
Our stay at Maria's could hardly have been more pleasant. Berodia is a beautiful village with expansive and impressive views of the surrounding Picos de Europa. During our time there we were within a short, albeit steep, drive of many of the region's most attractive destinations. From the doorstep of our accommodation we were able to purchase freshly baked bread, fresh caught fish (both delivered daily to town), and to purchase some of Maria's family made cheeses, a traditional taste of the region. The locals were extremely warm and welcoming through out our experiences in Asturias, but especially here. Maria's cheese shop is directly below the home which allows her to be very available should any issues arise, yet there is still plenty of privacy. It would be very beneficial to have at least one Spanish speaker with you for this region. The locals are exceptionally accommodating to tourists, but it is much easier for everyone if Spanish is spoken. Thank you Maria!
