「Stuart was very communicative, answering usually within minutes. Facilities are great, very comfortable place with good choices of rooms. We didn't get to use the hot tub as much as we'd have liked, as on arrival, we had a meal out booked soon, so the first night was out. The first day weather was terrible, none stop rain till the evening, so it wasn't comfortable to be outside much, then the second day we were out most of the day.」

「This property is beautiful. A true gem. The GF apartment was spotlessly clean, fabulously equipped and so quiet and comfortable. A beautiful garden with outdoor seating came with this apartment. 「We have just returned from a lovely weekend at Hillcrest cottage. It is exactly as shown in the listing. We loved the hot tub and sitting around the fire outside on the terrace watching the stars! Although it seems quite isolated it is less than half an hour’s stroll from Dunston and a few minutes further to Metheringham. The cottage and the views were stunning and we would highly recommend!」

「A lovely stay in a cute old stable. Lovely provision of cereal, bread, butter, milk and coffee (including some for the cafetière for those like me who don’t drink instant). The fridge has a small freezer at the top which is great. The living room is double height and very comfy with underfloor heating, the bedroom is upstairs on the mezzanine. The owners have really thought about the things you need when staying away in self-catered accommodation and it shows! 10/10」

「The property was excellent. Table football, trampoline in the garden and gym in the garage kept the younger members of our party well occupied. The added bonus of an on-site tennis court was much appreciated. The position of the was peaceful in spite of a busy main road nearby. Our hosts were ever helpful no matter how many times we contacted them. Will definitely be looking for another stay in the future.」

「We stayed now on two occasions on our journeys north & south to Scotland. The bungalow is easily accessible not too far from the A1 & there are good convenience facilities just off the A1 roundabout less than 4 miles from Austerfield. The bungalow is furnished to a high standard with comfortable sofas & excellent beds & bedding. The location is in a secure park with intriguing deer statues in several places. Well recommended for short or long stays.」

「We did not stay. The room was upstairs and we had to go through a really trashy yard to get to it. It was cold and the heaters didn’t work, smelt like mildew and the bathroom was a disaster! We let and found appropriate accommodations! I can’t believe they would consider renting the place! We had to travel down a one way road to get to the place and the gate was closed.
