「I have forgotten to take back my passport during checkin. On the next day of checkout I was super panic that I have lost my passport. I searched all my luggages and could not find it. At the end I realized the receiption has kept it. I am UNSURE why they did not return the passport to me to my room. A large part of the bathroom facilities are rusted making it a bit uncomfortable. 」

「The room was clean and just about the right size. The walls are very thin and so you can hear the guests in the next room. The staff was pleasant and courteous. Breakfast options were good.」

「Overall, it is a very nice hotel. Like apartment, you have kitchen, bathroom, living room and so on. Not so many choices but good breakfast. It’s not safe in Calama, so it’s a good idea to choose a hotel like this with gate and security. 」

「I didn’t enjoyed my stay at Modular Express, the only thing I liked was the included breakfast and that is near the airport. Rooms are small and noisy, personal has no customer service attitude, prices are really high in their mini market and meals, and only accept card, no cash. When you go to the cafetería, there are other workers that go too, from mining companies I guess.」

「服務人員冷淡, 住了3天都借不到風筒, 早餐十分不理想, 比一些便宜的Hostel 還差, 我在門上掛了請勿打擾的牌子但還是有人進我的房間。」

「I'm only able to comment on my personal experience. But, I think some of the other reviews may be unkind. This hotel does what it says on the tin. It felt clean, safe, and provided a comfortable night's sleep. The surrounding area isn't fantastic in my opinion but the hotel itself provided a perfect safe haven. The staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful and we loved Tata the hotels rescue dog :)」
