“Great location and parking (£12.50 a night) one minute walk away from accommodation. Could see issues as you need to download app to add all your details and then email sent separate to complete parking which felt like a chore. The weather was very hot but the apartment had 2 fans in it for us to use.

“I absolutely loved my stay at Strozzi Palace and will definitely stay again. Minor things which could’ve addressed were that the balcony area and chair cushions need some attention but it didn’t affect our stay. The room was lovely and the staff were great. I’d highly recommend. ”

“Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect.”

"We happened to stay during a heatwave. The room had no air conditioning, only a fan.
The room was spacious but really needs an update.
The corners of the bed and the duvet cover were torn.
The wallpaper was also peeling.
The bathroom renovation was acceptable.
Breakfast was in buffet style but the refills were too slow—there was nothing left to eat and all the juices ran out."
