  • Mas Ambros 3 km from Calonge: House "Mas Ambros", built in 2007. In an elevated position on top of a hill, 6 km from the sea, located by a road. Private: swimming pool angular (8 x 4 m, depth 150 - 150 cm, seasonal availability: 01.Jan. - 31.Dec.) with internal staircase. Garden furniture, barbecue. Supermarket 3 km, bus stop 1 km, sandy beach "Sant Antoni de Calonge" 6 km. Sports harbour 9 km, golf course (18 hole) 6 km, riding stable 12 km. Please note: car recommended. The owner does not accept any youth groups. Access to the house by 54 steps. Ramp is more 10% steep. Illuminated swimming pool. The house has a small apartment on the ground floor with a private terrace which is occupied more tan occasionally by the property which does not interfere in the garden areas, nor the swimming pool, nor the offered housing which is completely isolated and with a totally separate entrance door.
    4-room house 120 m2 on 3 levels. Comfortable and modern furnishings: living room, on 2 levels with digital TV, DVD and gas heating. Exit to the terrace. Dining room. Lounge. Exit to the terrace. 1 room with 2 beds (90 cm, length 190 cm). Open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, microwave, freezer, electric coffee machine) with bar. Exit to the terrace. On the lower ground floor: entrance hall with shower/WC. Upper floor: 2 rooms, each room with 2 beds (90 cm, length 190 cm). Bath/bidet/WC, double hand-basin. 2 terraces. Terrace furniture, deck chairs (4). Marvellous panoramic view of the sea, the mountains, the countryside and the resort. Facilities: washing machine, iron, children's high chair, baby cot for up to 2 year olds. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smoking house. Maximum 1 pet/ dog allowed. TV only ES. Das Haus ist sehr schön, der Außenbereich ist ebenfalls toll, mit einem großen Pool und einer super Aussicht, die man auch vom Haus aus genießen kann.

A week in the Spanish sun.

Sadly the week could have been perfect, but it wasn’t. I know the listing didn’t mention a kettle, but you would think one would be standard. The villa is built with the front made of glass in direct sunlight all day, but despite this there was only one fan provided and it didn’t work. We were trying to be isolated and cook for ourselves because of Covid, but the oven only worked as a grill. The WiFi came and went and ranged from 9mb for up to 2 hours in a day from 7:00am and was then as low as 0.1mb for the rest of the day. We had an umbrella base but no umbrella. All of this I could understand if something was done when we reported the problems, but they turned up, agreed the oven was faulty, took the fan away, said they would call us and that was the last we heard from them. The grounds lack the care and attention to make this the luxury villa it pretends to be. Most of the problems are cheap and easily fixed (by a handyman, a couple of quid and a gardener). I would neither stay again nor recommend.

Excellent a recommander

Très belle villa, très belle prestation. Le cadre et la vue sont magnifique. Il y a tout autour de la villa a moins de 5km plage centre ville etc... Seul soucis la literie et manque la climatisation, la piscine est trés agréable attention a la dernière marche, j'ai juste un doute sur le passage de 2 fois par semaine pour l'entretien. Dernier point noir les escalier à monté et impossible rentrer la voiture dans la villa pente trop importante a moins d'avoir un 4X4. A recommander les yeux fermés

Tranquilidad y buenas vistas

La casa se encuentra en una urbanización muy tranquila en Calonge con muy buenas vistas y una buena zona de día para disfrutar de la piscina, barbacoa o de la terraza en general. No obstante, la zona de noche es muy incómoda: camas viejas, pequeñas, ruidosas, manchas en las paredes... disfrutamos del día pero no encontramos un buen descanso por la noche. Las habitaciones necesitan urgentemente una renovación del mobiliario igual que la nevera. La limpieza en general tampoco era muy espléndida.

Très bel endroit !

J'aurais noté excellent si la literie était de bonne qualité (Sommiers et matelas premier prix, convenable pour des enfants) et si nous n'avions pas dû cohabiter avec une armée de fourmis. Mis à part ces désagréments, nous avons passé des très belles vacances. Très jolie maison, bien équipée, spacieuse. La vue nous a laissés sans voix, le soir c'est encore plus beau. La piscine est top. Beaucoup de marches à monter, ce qui peut être compliqué avec de jeunes enfants ou des personnes à mobilité réduite mais cet aspect est précisé dans la description.

Nous étions 4 dans la maison qui comporte 6 lits. Nous avions de la place car la maison est grande. La vue est imprenable et panoramique La piscine assez grande pour s’amuser avec des enfants et sans trop vis à vis. Les petits bémols : literie de petite qualité et peu confortable Pas de grand lit ! Donc pas de chambre véritablement parentale Ménage peu rigoureux Manque de vaisselles (bol, saladier...) Les marches pour venir ne sont pas véritablement un inconvénient sauf pour monter les valises les courses ;)

Una casa de lujo

Casa preciosa con un diseño interior con mucho gusto y muy funcional. La piscina y los alrededores están genial aunque no hay mucho espacio. Al estar lejos del pueblo obliga a coger siempre coche aunque eso aporta tranquilidad para el descanso.
