All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a decent size but looked very worn-out. Only one bath towel when we got there, but to be fair they gave us another one and apologised about it. The breakfast was OK but nothing special. The room was cheap enough though so quite good value for money and we would probably stay again

The first room we were allocated looked as though the beds had been sat on, so we asked for a different room, and that one was fine. Soap and shower gel were the only toiletries provided and meagre amounts of tea and coffee were in the room. More was given on request and plant based milk too, which was great. We didn't eat at the hotel because as a vegan and a vegetarian, suitable food choices were limited, plus the information we were given was that, because we were staying out of season some services were unavailable. The Receptionist was helpful, though some issues (like how to get the TV to work, or the heating or wifi) could be resolved by providing more information in the room. Overall, the accommodation was suitable for the purposes of our stay.

Let's start with the good stuff. Bathroom spotless, lovely fluffy towels and a great size too, not the usual handkerchief you often get! Massive bed, crisp clean bedding, great pillows. OK, so let's ignore the fact that the decor is in need of an update - it might be shabby, but the room was really clean throughout. Negatives? Central heating SO noisy, I had to wear earplugs to block out the background noise. And the shower, although really good and hot, is like being spiked by needles! Easily solved by a thorough descale of the shower head. Overall, great value at the price and would definitely stay again

Staff didn’t engage, when they were available they were talking with eachother. Had to search to find any members several occasions they were in the back in the kitchen as we could hear them but couldn’t find them as we didn’t want to go searching a food safe area. The view was beautiful, the “patio” needed some attention it was very creaky under foot and didn’t feel overly safe, the room was also extremely warm, had to sleep with the patio doors open to reach a comfortable level with the heat being shut off all day even.

Parking was great. Nice big car park and free. Felt safe and tucked away. We did not have breakfast. Evening menu appears to be pizza or pizza Not allowed to take own food or drinks ,🤔 we went to a nice pub instead. Bar was a bit pricey but it's a hotel so expect it. Looks a little dated but it was really nice. Lovely lake to look out in. No noise at all which was nice. We had requested ground floor as husband is disabled. The receptionist was amazing and helped us as this had not been requested from the booking. Could not fault anything for the price we paid

The staff Cristina was extremely rude , they wanted to charge us £12 an hour for extra time to check out and check in is only at 2pm the previous day , rooms are cold nothing to change the heating . Hotel is has nothing to do , they don’t work with cash. Bought a rose wine which tasted old as well. Breakfast stuff but not enough , pastries were old and none left or replenished Overall the customer service was bad because of one staff member called Cristina which was extremely rude and unhelpful
