Hotel très bien placé, la visite de Cambridge se fait à pied. Parking privé gratuit. Chambre spacieuse (salle de bain vieillotte). Très bon petit déjeuner.

This location was excellent. However, it was the wrong type of hotel for my wife, my baby and I. Too many stairs. Also, I needed to leave earlier and so couldn't take full advantage of the breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good hotel. Not right for US.

Hotel with parking a 15/ 20 minute walk through a park into the centre of Cambridge, on a fairly busy road but plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, staff friendly, hotel is due for refurbishment , lots of stairs so wouldn’t recommend for anyone with mobility issues

The Ashley is a budget hotel and all things considered was a nice property for what we paid. The biggest pluses were on-site parking and a great full breakfast being included. Whilst we appreciated being on ground level (room 1) for convenience it did come with draw backs - we were next to the front door and stairs so could hear anyone coming/going (but didn’t stop us from sleeping). Our mattress wasn’t great; we kept rolling to the middle and it was uncomfortable. Also the windows didn’t open so we lacked fresh air and it made the room quite hot (England is in a heat wave atm). Staff were friendly and helpful, a small supermarket across the road (though we had no fridge) and pubs/dining and parks are close by.
