"The beds were comfortable. The fire alarms malfunctioned during the night, going off several times. The problem was fixed soon enough that we could still get some sleep. The bathroom exhaust fan did not work. The room was extremely humid. So everything was damp. The breakfast needed some major help. The eggs were rubbery and the sausage links looked like turds. They were tasteless and tough."

"About 8 days before we booked here, we decided to go on a last minute getaway with our kids as the summer sports season wrapped up and before fall sports season began. My fiancé and I didn't have high expectations on finding anything great, given we only were looking for something days in advance for a 4 day stay on a weekend of all things. I clicked, and clicked through listings on different sites, and came across Katy's listing. I was instantly intrigued by the photos and the description - the reviews were all great. I messaged my fiancé and we were like "let's do it"! When we pulled up to this place, my heart just melted. I felt instantly like I was back in my childhood in the early 90's. The decor was vintage meets modern, it was so lovely. The cabin was the perfect size (we had 6 of us). The beds were so soft and comfy. Everything was just charming. The shower was so NICE! I loved prepping my meals in the cute kitchen, and we enjoyed eating our meals in the amazing screened in porch. The breeze on the porch was just perfect, we enjoyed playing cards and board games out there. Breakfast in the dining room was a must each morning. We did enjoy one night of TV while we were there, but besides that we were living our best life outside by the fire, fishing on the dock, grilling on the grill, enjoying the lake with our boat, and the provided kayaks. Life was SO good! We will be back every year now. 100%, this will be our yearly spot! Thank you so much Katy!"

"We had another great stay at this fine hotel. Staff was friendly and greeted us quickly right as we walked in. Check in went smoothly and we got to our room to unpack and unwind in no time. Room was clean, beds are firm, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was delightful with a wide delicious variety to choose from. Hotel location is right off the freeway, and close to shopping. The beach is just a few minutes away which is great place to visit in the summer. When having to travel to the area this is becoming the hotel we check for availability first!"

"My room was cleaning off , was available early and I really appreciated that. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was okay, could have been better but I've had a lot worse. I've stayed here before and will again, that pretty much tells you everything you need to know."

"This is a great place for a good price. The breakfast was good with very nice extra touches like Bigelow tea and extras for the waffles. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was great for the kids to enjoy after a long day on the road. I couldn’t figure out the jets in the hot tub."
