"Beautiful place in peaceful location. Nice view from our apartment overlooking the courtyard & mill pump, which we walked past on the way to the leisure centre & lake. Enjoyed a swim & sauna to top it off. Some areas could do with an update (& deep clean) but areas like the sauna had been updated (balconies on the todo list apparently, as we couldn't use). There's wasn't a restaurant or bar but a daily food van and Sun eve entertainment. But we were happy with our experience - Staff all very friendly and helpful. My mum loved her birthday getaway. Would return! "

"On arriving they are so dog friendly, everyone who saw Bruno was giving loves. It was such a warm welcoming! Driving down to the lodges was a bit unscenic. There was a lot of building works going on but as soon as you hit the lodges the view changes and it’s gorgeous again. The lodge is beautiful. There is a few bits that need a bit of attention such as some of the wallpaper in the living room had tiny bits missing, the shower looked a bit outdated at the bottom and there was a couple of chips in the floor. The sofa sets outside were a bit mouldy but I think this could be resolved of a wash and perhaps providing guests with covers to put over during the rain? The cleanliness of the place though was unmatched. Everything was pristine and the cleaners are constantly about all day. The sofa was incredibly comfortable and the beds. The bath was fantastic and the facilities in general were lovely. Had a great stay! "

"Quick one night at St Mellion, nice room and lovely staff at the reception/restaurant and in the shop. We ate at the brasserie which was great quality food. Comfy beds and a great view of the golf course. We will return "

"Absolutely lovely experience, so much history and fun to the place, my only complaint was some of the food was cold and the amount of dogs which decided to fight was a little bit much. Staff lovely though especially the one on reception."
