"Pros: Lots of kudos for being a pet friendly 100% non-smoking hotel on the island. Staff is friendly. Maids are good. Breakfast is standard fare. But I ate it everyday and appreciated it being there. Washing machine and dryer are a plus. Elevators work fine. There's a little store beside the office which is handy for a late night snack. My room had the best little refrigerator I've had in any hotel ever. The Beach access is great. Good water pressure in bath. Blackout curtain is good.
Cons: Way overpriced on the weekends which is 3x the weekday rate. The room dehumidifier is too small. I had to dump it three or four times a day. And it never got below 69% humidity in my room. The tray in the dehumidifier needs to be cleaned out. The AC coils need to be cleaned out. It's a little musty. Some of the lampshades had multiple stains on them and should be replaced! The thin curtain over the window had several stains including one bigger than a quarter. The Chair for the Desk - one of the rollers just came right off. There was a place on the carpet by the door that apparently was a patch. It was a square that was about a foot by foot that just looked tacky. There's a place on the Hall where it looks like someone took a saw and sawed a rectangle into it. There is not enough grass for the dogs around the area. When I was there, what little grass they did have was roped off. The pool is small. People are allowed to smoke in the pool and right outside the front door. I give it a B."
