Candelaria is a coastal town halfway between the international airport of the South and the capital city of Santa Cruz, so it is an ideal starting point for excursions, gastronomic outings and cultural events or shopping. Hikers will find the nearby, mythical Barranco de Badajoz in Güimar and for those who simply like to stroll, you will find the long promenade with several small beaches.
