  • Our cabin is nestled on the edge of national forest with lovely views. Wild life, deer and occasional a bear will make their way to the cabin. The cabin was built in the 70's and recently renovated. It has 3 bedrooms, a king bed in the master, Queen and a FULL with a top bunk in the other two bedrooms. Each bedroom has a flat screen Smart TV. The cabin has two full baths. Washer and Dryer. New kitchen with all needed appliances and accessories. Working wood fire place for the cool evenings or just to enjoy. A wrap around deck on the back side to relax in the mornings and evenings. THE HOT TUB is on the back deck for your enjoyment after a day of activity. Firepit and private pool for our guests to enjoy. Grocery store is just a couple miles away. Cabin is located very convenient to activities, happenings, hiking, great restaurants and downtown Asheville.

We immensely enjoyed our stay here! The cabin is clean, plenty of room for our 2 families, and well stocked with all the necessities. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and kind as well. We made a couple of requests and they were always quick to respond and willing to help. And being able to have our pup with us meant a lot! The property is absolutely beautiful with lots of exploring or relaxing and the views! Short drive to get groceries or head into Asheville for some shopping. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely place to get away

Perfect get away for Valentines weekend. We enjoyed the hot tub, with beautiful mountain view, house was warm, and cozy. Very friendly owners and friendly fur baby Bailey. Overall a great get away weekend, thank you to the owners.

The property was close to everything we wanted to do in Asheville, was clean and had everything we needed. Good space for our dogs and the owners were responsive to our questions and needs.

We loved this place. Traditional rustic cabin in the woods. Our hosts are on property and were amazing and couldn't have been nicer. Rooms were clean and plenty of space for two couples. We also had three medium sized dogs and there is a ton of room on the property from them to run. play and explore. Firepit is out back and they supplied firewood. Great touch as we brought our own but they had plenty. Only things that could be improved upon was that the stove in the cabin was not working but we let them know so that should be taken care of. And the hot tub needed to be cleaned out a little bit. Not too bad as we still used it but there was some dirt and sand in the hot tub and ringed around the edges. The cabin is also very close to many nearby trails as it is coveniently located. We would absolutely come back and we loved our hosts!!

Great quiet spot

We loved our stay at the log cabin. The hot tub was great to sit in in the morning and the back porch looking out into the woods was very relaxing. We had a fire in the fireplace one night and between the games in the books had a great stay.

Asheville Family Getaway

Our family enjoyed spending Christmas 2024 here. The place was toasty warm with a roaring fire in the fireplace. The cabin was super clean and all glammed up for Christmas! With the owners living close by to our every need was met. We would go back!

Family Vacation

The pictures do not do this place justice. The cabin was so comfortable and exceeded our expectations. My kids didn't want to leave and asked if we could live there. It wasn't too far from most of the kid friendly hikes and still near restaurants and shopping. Definitely would stay again!

Great weekend stay

The cabin is great in that it is in a relatively secluded area with a great view of the mountains, while not being too far away from downtown Asheville. Another plus is that Ubers do pick up from the property. The amenities at the cabin are great with being well stocked with everything you need. If you need anything Carolyn and David are more than willing to assist you.

Fun time for NYE

There were 6 of us that stayed for the NYE weekend and there was plenty of room for all of us. It was a cute, quiet cabin and we enjoyed the hot tub and the recliner couches. This cabin is close to Asheville but you still get the secluded feel which was what we were looking for. I would like to stay here again when we come back to Asheville!

Great place for Thanksgiving

Booked this cabin for family to stay while visiting our daughter's family in Asheville. Location was great. Near to grocery and highways to get around. Quiet and quaint. Lots of room for everyone. Did our Thanksgiving cooking here. Well equipped kitchen. Had questions before our trip and hosts responded quickly. Definitely recommend!
