Calme et nature aux milieux des chateaux de la Loire

Maison en pleine nature et au calme et pourtant proche de nombreux chateaux. Maison simple et agréable à vivre avec un ping pong, des jeux de société et un très beau jardin, ce qui nous a permis de passer de bons moments entre 2 visites.

Great stay for an easter break

We stayed in the gite during Easter break 2022. We had great luck with the weather and could enjoy outdoor facilities - beautiful and spacious garden, outdoor dining area, blooming neighbourhood fields. We could use 4 bikes, kindly provided by the owner of the property, so we enjoyed riding around. The house is an old farmhouse, with a chimney. It was renovated and thoughtfully furnished, lots of space to store things, comfortable beds, cosy living and dining area. Hot water and shower facilities were functioning properly. Kitchen had everything we needed, including dishwasher and washing machine, which were highly appreciated (as we dined mostly at home and with small kids there is always something one would need to wash). All the facilities were clean and functional. Communicating with the owner (who lives in the house near by) was a pleasure. We really appreciated a bottle of local wine and homemade jam. Thanks a lot! It was also interesting to find out some historical information about the property and the owners family. The region is also very beautiful and has lots to offer - we paid visits to the cities of Amboise, Tours and Blois, and also visited castles of Villandry and Chaumont. Very impressive. And we would love to come back sometime to see more of what this region has to offer. All in all we had a great stay and the only minor thing was its shortness - we'd love to be able to stay longer. Thanks a lot!
