“The apartment was very clean and the area was very quiet. There were no eateries close by so you will need to contact a taxi to get a real meal. The bank was within walking distance and it’s a nice walk to the beach. Overall real nice property would definitely stay again. ”

The house, which is very comfortable, is in a terrific location: less than a minute to the beach and a ten minute walk to the main town. The owner, is extremely helpful and responsive. We booked for next year while waiting for our plane in the airport.”

“We were picked up by Brendon’s Taxi when we arrived on Bequia and were brought to the Ohana house where we were met by the wonderful Vanice. We were instantly impressed with the home and especially the kindness of Bequia. The house is exactly how it looks in the pictures and how it’s described. The beach is a very close walk. Although, very steep. You will have to be in decent shape to make it back and will need sandals with some grip. With that being said… that should not deter you from staying……

“This property is designed for those that like camping. There’s nothing luxury about this site. I felt unsafe and stuffy the whole night. The tent had no air flow, the shower has no hot water/pressure kept going out. The main bathroom had no lights so we had to use our camera phones. There was a portable potty behind our tent if you didn’t want to walk down to the bathroom. No refrigerator, just a cooler of ice and mosquitoes galore! I wish I was refunded for the whole stay but we did get a……

“This is a very lovely apartment room rental. You see the ocean and yet it is quiet at night. There is everything you need here. You purchase breakfast and meals, made fresh by the lovely owner Sharon. Her husband Junior can help you find tours for snorkeling if the weather is good. This is really a gem in Canouan”

“Very good value for money. The house has beautiful views and a lovely breeze. A good kitchen and two good sized bedrooms. Ato the caretaker was very helpful and Clotilde,the owner was very accommodating. The island offers a good selection of restaurants within walking distance. On the other hand. The power station below the house is noisy 24/7. There are no air conditioning or window or door screens so bug juice for the mosquitoes is essential. There’s no hot water so getting in the shower……

“An absolutely incredible experience; start to finish! Pre-departure, the hotel staff ensure smooth airport transfers as well as a full menu of daily activities to consider. Upon arrival and throughout our stay, Mandarin's hotel staff exceeded our expectations. There is plenty to do on the premises and the food was excellent. The surrounding restaurants are also terrific and everything is a short drive from the hotel. Highly recommended. ”
