Such a piece of history. The building itself has so much character and charm. The room was spacious and comfortable. The food was excellent. Fresh made breakfast every morning, tea and baked goods in the afternoon, and a large cheese and meat platter with wine in the evening. Couldn’t have been a better experience.

Everything was great. The Angel is historic, charming with wonderful amenities. The staff was very nice, warm, welcoming, and helpful. Breakfast was very good with a good selection. Tea and sweets and wine and antipasti were wonderful surprises and very much appreciated.

I highly recommend a stay at this property! My college daughter and I went for a few days during her Spring Break. She loves victorian style homes and this one was perfect. We loved that they had bikes available to ride during the day. Breakfast each day was delicious, and the Tea and Treats and Wine and Cheese times were so fun.

Great staff. Beautiful room. A nice surprise was afternoon Tea and Sweets and the wine and cheese before we left for dinner. A 2-minute walk to the beach. A short drive to the outside mall. We would have used the complimentary bikes and beach chairs, but the wind had no part of that in mid-March. Breakfast was amazing, different everyday. Beautiful

My stay met and exceeded my expectations in every way. From my early arrival (in anticipation of a severe storm) and the staffs willingness to hold my luggage until check in, to them happily carrying my luggage to my room-things got off to an impressive start. The hotel is an old beauty, rich in history, cozy and comfortable. My room was beautiful and clean and my bed was so comfortable.
I was pleasantly surprised by the generosity and great service of both the complimentary tea and sweets and the wine and cheese hours. Service was so kind and caring.
Top this off with a wonderful full service breakfast and anyone will be absolutely happy that they chose Angel of Sea for their stay in the lovely town of Cape May!
PS did I mention that the ocean is right across the street!

The Victorian atmosphere was beautiful. The staff were friendly. We thought the happy hour was generous and fun and the breakfast was delicious 😋. Our only complaint would be that our room was very bright and hot. The bed was comfy. We will definitely be back but will try a different room.

It was a wonderful stay again after coming back in just 3 weeks. Everything was done meticulously with such an attention to details.
