A traveller’s paradise
This is the type of place you dream of finding as a traveller. Lyn and Mick were the perfect hosts, making us feel like invited friends instead of paying guests. The suite felt very luxurious and is beautifully decorated - the bathroom is to die for. They’ve clearly put thought into the things that mean a lot when you’re on the road - plenty of sockets, for example, and a hairdryer that’s actually next to a mirror. And the private terrace!!! A huge, tiled, Mediterranean-style serene space. The area felt very safe and we took their advice to walk to the the Tuk Tuk craft brewery in the evening. Fab food and drink. The pool is quite tiny. But seriously, everything else is so spot on, I wouldn’t even take that into consideration - it’s still big enough to cool down in. The only downside was that we booked in for only one night - if I’d known, I would definitely have booked more.

Fabulous hosts
Fabulous stay, Lynne and Mick were such wonderful hosts. Lynne literally drove us to and from our dinner reservation when we could not get an Uber…and this was New Years Eve! They couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful. Location is spot on, 2 minutes or less to the center of town.

Bra läge, värdparet var mycket trevliga och hjälpsamma. Vi hade stort rum med egen stor uteplats. Liten gemensam pool som vi inte använde.

Mick and Lynne are superb hosts to their lovely appartments. They have a wealth of local knowledge and are happy to help with your plans. The appartments are well appointed, clean and very comforatable, and the location is perfect, 2 mins from the main road, full of restuarants, cafes etc. We had some lovely drinks chatting with them at the bar and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Franshoek. Thank you.

Great hospitality
Only stayed one night but Mick and Lynne's hospitality know no bounds. Apartment was spotless and wee needed for nothing. Will be back but hope to stay a bit longer next time.

Great 3 day stopover
Lynn and Mick are great hosts and the Pinotage apartment was great. The apartment looks right onto the small parking lot so there is really no place to sit outside unless you go around to the pool area. Lynn left a terrific welcome pack and in the evenings we were invited to share a glass of wine with them and the other guests. You are just steps from downtown so you can walk everywhere. A good choice in this area.

Wonderful guest house
Trip was amazing.Guest house well situated and extremely well equipped. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners Lynn and Mick. We have booked to go again in February 2019

Charming and Well Situated
Wonderful time in Franschoek. Close to the tram the heads out to the winery-quick walk and we were there. Walked out for dinner-it was close and excellent. We were only there one night but were greeted warmly and we could have easily relaxed for longer.

Tolles Apartment in 1A Lage
Das Apartment war sehr groß und mit allem was das Herz begehrt ausgestattet. Jeden Tag gab es frisches Toastbrot, Butter und Käse, obwohl es ein Self-Catering-Apartment war. Das benutzte Geschirr wurde ebenfalls abgewaschen. Die Gastgeber waren immer um das Wohl der Gäste besorgt und haben uns mit guten Tipps versorgt. Man war Teil der Familie. Einfach nur toll. Die Stadt ist bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir werden wieder kommen.

Fantastic location for a gourmet night out
Wonderfully located within walking distance of everything in Franshoek. Very welcoming and such a well appointed room with separate kitchenette. We loved all the toiletries available and the little breakfast left for us in the fridge. The Nespresso machine with lots of pods and fresh milk in the fridge was great. DSTV with all the channels. Locked off street parking for the car too. All in all a great, well priced guesthouse. We would recommend it highly. Of course you need to book dinner at La Petit Colombe or one of the other superb restaurants only a few hundred metres walk away...

Ideaal gelegen en mooi verblijf, zeer gastvrij
Erg leuk verblijf. Zeer aardige en gastvrije gastvrouw (Lynn) en gastheer (Mick). Heel gunstig gelegen op loopafstand van restaurants, winkels, galleries van Franschhoek. Zeer rustig, eigen afgesloten parkeerterrein. Twee ingangen: één aan de Wilhelminastraat en één aan de voorkant, recht tegenover het Hugenotenmonument. Elke dag veel verse spullen in de koelkast (o.a. brood en kaas voor ontbijt), gratis Nespresso, gratis wifi. Mooi zwembad.
