A fabulous find. I had just had my hip replaced and the staff could not have been more helpful in my recuperation. The garden is beautiful and breakfast outside is tranquil and sublime. I will be back and thank you all again.

Fantastic place. My only regret is not having more time to spend here. Short walk to the botanical gardens (down the block). One block further are plenty of dining options. The breakfast is solid.

Above everything, very friendly and helpful staff. But it was also a lovely room, comfortable bed and a great breakfast too. The location was perfect for a conference at the university but also it was very close to walk to the (extremely good!) restaurants in the centre of town.

Relaxing quiet location near town and University

All of the staff were friendly and welcoming. Room spacious and clean with a complimentary carafe of sherry. We ate a lovely breakfast outside. A cold selection available inside and a hot breakfast could be ordered. A short walk to the Fat Butcher restaurant and the Botancial Gardens.

Stora rum, stor frukost.

Stellenbosch är en utmärkt plats att ha som utgånsläge för utflykter till olika platser, framförallt olika vingårdar med bra utbud. Staden Stellenbosch har många bra restauranger. Hotell Evergreen Manor är en klassisk kolonial villa med har stora rum med badrum. Stor frukost. Mycket trevlig personal, mycket renligt.

Bon emplacement mais sejour mitige

Sejour mitige les consignes entre les agents d accueil ne sont pas transmises donc necessite de refaire le check in,le spa n est pas a la hauteur et la literie non plus.par contre tres bon emplacement tres central et tres bon petit dejeuner.vigilance ils voulaient nous refaire payer la chambre alors que nous avions deja regle via hotel.com

everything was very good. I was a little disappointed with the room rates at the Manor. somehow there was a confusion along the line and I paid US$ 334.00 for two nights, in my opinion it was a little overboard.

Evergreen Manor - en stor besvikelse

Dåligt underhållet. Oproffsigt gjord inredning och ett vägguttag saknade plastskydd och alltså var rent farligt. Smutsiga väggar och fönster, fönsterluckor slog i vinden och gick inte att stänga. Fick be om saker som fattades. Skulle varit fyr-stjärnigt. Det kanske det har varit någon gång tidigare. Ser bättre ut på bild än i verkligheten. Besvikelse!

Nice quiet and very clean with amazing staff ;I actually arrived very late due to freight issues but they understood and waited for me, funny enough for me there was an honesty bar in the small room ; wine , beers etc ; I had good times

This was a BnB. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Everything was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was delicious. There is no staff on at night, but you have keys to come and go, and felt very safe. There was a discrepancy with how many nights I was staying. I originally was staying 2 nights and then changed it to one night via Expedia per the change policy of the hotel. This seems it was communicated to the hotel, but the manager didn't give me any issues. She was clearly confused, but she didn't give me a hard time about it and took it up with Expedia.

Der Empfang war freundlich und - was sehr positiv war - der Check-In weit vor der offiziellen Zeit möglich. Es ändert aber nichts an der Tatsache, wonach das Haus einer dringenden und allgemeinen Renovierung bedarf.

Veel bla bla, weinig wol

Dit hotel was voor ons de enige grote tegenvaller in Zuid Afrika. Veel bla bla weinig wol. Manor en Spa.. jaja.... Welke Spa? twee hele kleine zwembadjes waarvan 1 vuil? Eerst weggestopt in een kamer naast de garage met "gezellig" uitzicht op de geparkeerde auto's en busje. Na beklag naar een andere kamer, waarbij de mannelijke hulp (concierge?) ons nog wist te melden dat een kamer met twee single bedden wel duurder was dan 1 met een tweepersoonsbed (????) . Het ontbijt was beperkt en de ruimte toe aan een opknapbeurt. Een late check out ( 5 uur later ivm late vlucht) was mogelijk tegen een tarief dat hoger lag dan het reguliere voldaagse tarief. Al met al, graag geld vangen, weinig passie met de gasten. Onderhoud aan het hotel is wisselend. Voor dat geld zijn er betere opties die ook nog meer centraal liggen. Jammer
