「From the time we checked in we felt relaxed… The outdoor kitchen was an absolute winner for us. I would like to do that for my own property down the line, - as well as the outdoor bathroom. The only thing I would change would be some of the lighting to a warm light, as there was quite a lot of blue fluorescent lights in the place which reduced the ambience - otherwise a top spot for exploring Cow Bay all the way up to Cape Tribulation. 「There are no words to describe the experience of staying here. The listing looked too good to be true. Even after we walked through door and checked out the surroundings, to the tune of cricket song, it felt like we stepped into another dimension so different from our tired, stressed-out reality. It is rare to find such clean, safe, first-world luxury in the middle of a prehistoric rainforest! And Jacquie thought of everything to ensure we were well prepared for our visit - she was so responsive...

「Three nights of bliss - we wish we'd booked longer! It was a beautifully relaxing few days after a busy couple of weeks in Cairns. The location is beautiful, walking distance to the beach. 「The house is very comfortable and well-equipped. We used it as a base to enjoy activities on Cape Trib - the Discovery Centre, walks, Reef trip. The house is further than we expected from dinner places, (except Crocodylus), with the Cow Bay Hotel now closed. So we did feel a little isolated. We walked to the exquisite beach a couple of times - an easy 20 mins away.」

「Great room. Depending on what room you have it could get a little noisy if you have noisy neighbors since some have 3~4 rooms sharing walls. The Tide Resturants is amazing one of the best food we have had. We got the special, crispy salmon and chefs bowl with barramundi. So good so we had it again the next night. Non of the other Resturants open for dinner looked that great. 」

「Our stay at CapeTrib Farmstay was a trip back to nature. It gave us peace, relaxation and home comforts and all secluded within the farms ripening fruit trees. The cabin had an air conditioned bedroom a funtional bathroom and the extended canopy provided cover for comfy seating and a kitchen with gas burners and fridge freezer in an open air environment.
