Umgebung Top - Haus leider enttäuschend

Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir bereits vom Hausmeister erwartet. Ein kleines Begrüßungspaket stand auf dem Tisch. Das Ferienhaus ist ausreichend groß für 7 Personen. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist umwerfend und zwei Strände sind fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Leider ist das Haus in einem nicht mehr so guten und nicht sehr gepflegten Zustand. Wir waren bei unserer Ankunft ehrlich gesagt sehr schockiert. An den Fußleisten hingen Spinnweben, die Wasserhähne waren bereits stark angegriffen, die Sitzkissen fleckig. Bei der Bestandsaufnahme der Küche erfolgte erneut Ernüchterung. Es fehlten Weingläser! Die übrigen Gläser waren durchweg blind. Für ein Haus mit maximal 7 Personen waren lediglich 5 Tassen vorhanden. Besteck und Geschirr waren nicht sauber und hatten eine eigenartige Patina. Es gab keine Kaffeemaschine nach deutschem Standard und der Wasserkocher füllte gerade einmal 500 ml. Für Kaffeetrinker waren eine kleine Bialetti sowie eine Kapselmaschine vorhanden. Für 5 Kaffeetrinker einfach nicht ausreichend. WLAN war vorhanden, aber sehr langsam, so dass wir lieber unser Datenvolumen nutzten. Das Haus war mit einem kleinen und einem großen Bad ausgestattet. Die Wasserhähne hatten sehr wenig Druck und das Wasser war sehr trüb. Die Dusche im kleinen Bad ist sehr klein und flutete bei Benutzung das gesamte Bad. Wir hatten umgehend mit der Agentur Kontakt aufgenommen. Ein freundlicher Mitarbeiter sicherte uns für den selben Abend Gläser und Besteck und für den kommenden Montag eine Kaffeemaschine, Tassen und den Austausch der Sitzkissen zu. Besteck und Gläser kamen noch am selben Abend, auf den Rest warteten wir leider vergeblich. Das Grundstück hatte einen kleinen Hinterhof, der am Nachmittag angenehmen Schatten spendete. Wäre dieser Hinterhof gepflegt und aufgeräumt gewesen, hätten wir ihn in den heißen Stunden gern genutzt. Positiv hervorzuheben ist die Außendusche, die wir in der Zeit des Aufenthaltes täglich mehrfach nutzten. Alle Fenster verfügten über Fliegengitter und Fensterläden, so dass man tagsüber das Haus vor Sonne schützen und des nachts die Fenster weit öffnen konnte. Zum Abschluss noch ein Hinweis für Gäste mit einem etwas größeren Fahrzeug. Die Einfahrt ist für kleine Fahrzeuge konstruiert, beim Einfahren mussten wir mit unserem Auto (4,90 m) zweimal ansetzen und beim Ausfahren 4-5 mal.

Geräumiges Ferienhaus in toller Lage mit Meerblick

Wir (5) haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können das Haus sehr empfehlen. Netter Empfang mit Willkommenspaket (Kaffee / Kekse). Einfache Anfahrt, kurzer Spaziergang zum kleinen Hausstrand oder etwas weiter zum schönen Zuccale/Barabarca. Kleine Anmerkungen: Eine Rolle Toilettenpapier für den ersten Tag wäre schön, ebenso Geschirrtücher. Internet gibt es nur begrenzt, Datenvolumen war nicht bekannt und wurde von unseren Söhnen bereits am 3. Tag aufgebraucht. Regeln für Mülltrennung sollten wenigstens auf Englisch kenntlich gemacht werden (was gehört wo rein). Jeden Tag muss eine andere Tonne vor das Haus gestellt werden...bloss nicht vergessen.
