I have nothing but nice things to say about this house and our experience. It was amazing, there were 10 friends staying for a weekend and we had plenty of space and privacy. We planned to cook and hang out and always worry about rental house kitchens not being well stocked with cooking essentials or place settings but it was the opposite, I’ve never been to a vacation property that was this well equipped. The kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, serving dishes, place settings, flatware, wine glasses and refrigerator space (there’s an extra in the garage!). The spaces in the house were comfortable and clean and gave us lots of opportunities to change scenery (coffee on the porch, breakfast in the breakfast nook, dinner in the dining room, dessert on the veranda).
We did have an issue with the lower oven not staying on and I emailed the host, someone was knocking on the door to check on it within the hour. It couldn’t be fixed while we were there, which wasn’t an issue, but the response time was impressive and appreciated.
We would definitely return, everything was clean, lovely, and high end. The bathrooms had toiletries, and there was a basket in the entry with extras like big spray and sunscreen to use if you forgot it. The extra touches were thoughtful.
