Located at the foot of historic medieval Cite (largest walled medieval city in Europe) and 10-15 minutes walk of Carcasonne main town. Close to many restaurants & bars catering for all tastes & budgets. Everything in walking distance, no car necessary, although free parking nearby. 10 minutes from Carcassonne Airport with regular Ryanair flights. One hour from Toulouse Airport (easyjet, Flybe, BA). Mediterranean coast & beaches 40 minutes drive. Excellent golf course 5 minutes. Numerous picturesque circulade villages & Cathar castles under an hour. Upcoming wine region with delicious discoveries on your doorstep. Leisurely cruising, walking or cycling along the Canal du Midi. Ideal central location for exploration or house hunting.

Amazing..... Apartment, Location & Hosts

I booked a long weekend stay at the apartment Monet as a surprise for my wife's 30th, and I can honestly say it was amazing from start to finish! The host, Inga was more than helpful in helping arrange a brilliant stay. We were given a lift from and to the airport which was one less thing to worry about. Inga, is very friendly and welcoming too & was more than happy to point out places to visit and where to eat etc. On arrival at the apartment I knew I had made the right decision, the location, layout and overall feel of the apartment was perfect for us, and there's a view to match. A travel cot and high chair was provided for our daughter, as well as everything you need for your stay. The location in relation to both the Cité and the new town is great and there are plenty of restaurants close by. There is a small shop around the corner where you can get the basics and fresh bread croissants etc. We absolutely loved our stay at 'Monet', and can definitely recommend it to anyone...... we can safely say we will be returning! Thank You for all your help!

Perfect for a couple visiting Carcassonne

The apartment is perfectly located for a visit to Carcassonne. Everything is within walking distance. The apartment is very well equipped, with a very practical kitchen, pleasant lounge area with T.V. and Wifi. The double bed is very comfortable.Everything is spotless and very well maintained, and a very welcome retreat after a day exploring a very interesting area. Inga, the owner, met us at the airport, and took us the apartment,describing various points of interest on the way. She made us feel very much at home, and she is easy to contact if you were to have any problems. We would recommend this property to anyone. We are looking forward to our fourth visit later in the year. John and Enid (uk)

A place away from home

It was clean comfortable and more than I ever expected. A holiday home with a smile. With its cute windows the sun shines in and warms up your soul. Reception was really warm friendly and graceful. The apartment always has hot water all you need is there lovely parks small coast shops easy to walk into town across a beautiful bridge ... romantic charming rest for your body ... yes. I with to thank all for my wonderful time ... see you soon again xx
