Sanctuary at Grand Memories
Nice All Inclusive in Varadero. The Sanctuary offers a great get away from the main Grand Memories with separate breakfast dining area, pool, and check in / service area. Beach just a walk away from the complex.

I really enjoyed the stay at this resort. The sanctuary is for adults only so it is very quiet and peaceful. The food was amazing and the staffs were super friendly and helpful. Our butler Norvin really made our vacation more convenient. He was super helpful and always on call whenever we need him for everything. I will definitely go back! Highly recommended.

-the hotel is in good conditions but every time you ask for a drink they give it to you in plastic cups :( Sometimes the food service is very slow and sometimes they don't have everything in the menu so be sure to ask if you really want something in particular.

Check-in was terrible, staff was not friendly and the room reserved (King bed) was not the room given (two twin beds). I was taller than the bed. There’s an expectation for your reservation to be what you get, not a bait and switch. There was no attempt by staff to ameliorate the situation. The food in the nice restaurant was sub-par and room service was slow and the order was wrong.

I stayed in this hotel toward the end of my trip in Cuba for only two nights. Work up after the first night, the floor was covered with water everywhere. It turned out the room next door had a serious leak, and the water overflew into my room. Later I noticed I got bitten by bed bugs. Still have these itchy bits on my legs, neck, arms. Had to clean and sanitize every single item in my suitcase. It's a lot of work!

Overall clean (the room and the facilities), friendly staff, but BAD FOODS. How could they cook so badly with those fresh ingredients? Not only the problem of this hotel but generally Cuba needs a huge improvement on their foods to attract more tourists.

We love the location and how comfortable our room was, we stayed at the all adults area, all the pools were great and the property was immaculate,most of the staff was superb except for one or two that weren't as helpful or nice, the food at the buffet was pretty good,we eat at two of the specialty restaurants and were left very disappointed luckily the buffet was still open and we were able to make up for it. the beach was clean and the service was good there. the entertainment could used some spicy to it, but we left there on Friday so maybe it gets better on the weekend, although when you are in vacation you want to feel like its the weekend everyday.overall we enjoyed it.

Dirty, staff was rude, food was horrendous, worst experience ever. The bathroom are falling apart the doors and all the whole property are in bad shape super embarrassing for our guest. Everything was dirty. Horrible experience for varadero and paid almost 250 dollars.

Fantastic adults only stay!
Lovely adults only part of the hotel, good service from every angle, nice quiet pool and beautiful maintained beach. Shout out to the staff who were helping with the sunloungers as they both always had a smile on their faces and were very friendly! Room was fantastic for Cuban standards, food too. What we didn’t realise till 3 days in was that there were other restaurants that you could go to so that was a huge oversight but never mind ! Overall we had a brilliant trip and by Cuban standards was excellent.

В принципе, отель понравился, наверное, один из лучших отелей на Варадеро. Из минусов- очень медлительное обслуживание номеров- уборку номеров могли начать часа в 4 дня, что доставляло определенные неудобства, т.к. к этому времени мы уже возвращались с пляжа. Из ресторанов - самый лучший это расположенный в самом Сенктуари, все остальные- оставляют желать лучшего, Итальянский- вообще не соответствует своему назначению. В рестораны записываешься заранее в начале недели у сотрудника, располагающегося за столом напротив ресепшн. Вай-фай, как и везде на Кубе- платный, карточки покупаешь на ресепшн и только за куки. На пляже Санктуари иногда наблюдались отдыхающие из Гранд Мемориас (другие браслеты), хотя этот пляж для них не был предназначен. В отеле в основном люди старшего поколения, молодежным его не назовешь. Вечерами достаточно тихо, в отличие от других отелей. Как заканчивается развлекательная программа (около 10 вечера) - отель засыпает. Но, в целом, все понравилось! Рекомендую для тихого, спокойного отдыха.

EXCELENTE PARA DESCANSAR
Excelente para descansar unos días, después de varios días se vuelve monótono y repetitivo, sin embargo, todo excelente y la parte solo adultos muy bien, además de tener acceso al resto del complejo incluidos bares y restaurantes, no solo del Sanctuary. La playa increíble y el personal de lo mejor, ya he estado otras veces en Varadero y hasta el momento, este hotel es el mejor que conozco.

-Hotel in die Jahre gekommen, Preis etwas hoch (aber typisch für Kuba) + exzellenter Service, qualitativ hochwertiges Essen, Anlage und Zimmer sauber, Anlage schön für Kubaverhältnisse

Empfehlenswertes Hotel
Es handelt sich um eine große Hotelanlage mit einem vielseitigen Entertainment Angebot. Es gibt verschiedenste Restaurants und das Essen ist von guter Qualität. Das Sanctuary at Grand Memories ist eines von drei Hotels auf der Anlage und bietet eine komfortablere Ausstattung als die anderen beiden Hotels. Die Zimmer sind etwas teurer, dafür gibt es für Diamond Club Mitglieder einen privaten Strandabschnitt, besseres Essen im eigenen Restaurant und teureren Alkohol an der Bar. Das Personal war stets freundlich und der Komfort der Zimmer gut.
