Thank you for your review. As always I like to respond to positive and negative reviews. It’s clearly advertised that the front of house team is not available on a Monday to check you in and lockbox is available. The owner (me) saw you were a lone female traveller and arranged (paid for) a member of staff to meet you at the hotel in order to check you in. We also state that we don’t have 24 hour staff coverage, we also don’t have TVs in our rooms, and you will see we don’t say that we do, it’s a preference that we want for our hotel, that we have had many positive comments on, but we found you a TV and a member of team connected it to the internet for you. I didn’t laugh at any of your safety concerns, I laughed when you called me babe, and also when we disagreed over personal preference about having a TV in the room, apologies if that offended you. In regards to the pub and restaurant being shut on a Monday, this is a legimate concern that I have raised with the booking apps, as I can’t get it to show on there. But the only day the pub/restuarant is closed is a Monday, so please don’t book if that’s what you are expecting. I am glad you enjoyed the meal the team have said the feedback was very positive, I am also glad the team gave you a free drink as I asked them too. Like we said on the phone, for your personal preferences our hotel isn’t for you, which I totally understand. I appreciate the review and my opportunity to answer/respond.
