「If you’re here for the turtles, this is THE place. We were able to see little ones right on the beach! However, did not care for the food or room very much. Pamphlets would have been useful for the lodge, so we could better explore the grounds and surrounding area. There is no concierge and it takes them a bit long to respond to your questions via WhatsApp.」

「We had 4 HUGE roaches in our room when we arrived! My husband had to kill them; just so we could sleep & feel comfortable-still was hard bc we were wondering if more would come out at night & crawl all over us while sleeping!
Next night we had a lizard on our pillows before bedtime. Plus; safety wise we had No glass on the windows had to sleep with only screens on windows! Only a ceiling fan; as they don’t offer air conditioning.

「I have never received better customer service than at Miss Junie’s. Nory and her staff are attentive and committed to hospitality. The rooms are very clean. The building and grounds are beautiful and old, worn by time, but with character. The afternoon ocean breeze is cooling and the beach is shaded in the late afternoon. 「Die Zimmer waren wirklich sehr schön und die Lage direkt am Fluss. Natürlich toll. Leider ist von der Architektur her das Hotel ein wenig umständlich geplant dich bei räumen sehen eigentlich aus wie eine Kantine und sind innen ohne Blick auf den Fluss, während Aussichtspunkte und das Pool am Fluss legen und damit eigentlich eine schöne Sicht haben. 「Our family stayed for a second time at the Kukula Lodge and it again exceeded expectations. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful, the grounds are extremely well-kept, rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast is plentiful and delicious . . . and the lodge is just a few minutes' walk to the beach. To top it off, the price is very reasonable- what more could you want? It was truly a pleasure to stay at Kukula Lodge and we will certainly be back!」
