Not worth the money
This house is in a nice location and has amazing views, but it is just not a rental property. The house is listed for sale currently and feels more like an abandoned house than a vacation rental. We had no heat and no hot water for the first 24 hours as the heater and hot water heaters were shut off when we arrived. The owner did send someone to fix them, but we ended up freezing in the house for the first night as it was very cold outside. That was really not ideal (to say the least) for my family.
None of the technology or amenities in the house work. There is no tv, the internet only works in the kitchen and nowhere else in the house, and there is literally zero cell phone reception at the property, so unless you are in the kitchen you are completely cut off from communication. There is a hot tub on the premises but it is not usable for renters, there is a fire pit and fireplaces but no wood available. The house has radiant heat (when the heat is turned on) but no ability to regulate the temperature via a thermostat. The automatic gate also stopped working while we were there. All of this is just not acceptable at this price point.
