Great place to unwind and catch up.

My mom wanted to see the ocean for her 81 bday. We spent hours talking and laughing on the back deck or walking the beach. Great location.

Perfect Oceanside spot!

We enjoyed our stay here, despite the cooler weather! Plenty of room, right on the beach! Spent time in downtown Wilmington and Carolina Beach. Was perfect for getting our family together before the holiday.

Great get away

We needed a place for three families to share over Thanksgiving. This was the perfect house. Plenty of room for everyone. Furnishings were lovely. The beds very comfortable. We had a wonderful time

A lovely place

The condo is really lovely, with a great location. Beds were very comfortable. The elevator and luggage cart made loading and unloading super easy.The beach is very nice, with easy access.It would be nice if there were some instruction sheets. We had trouble with the high tech (to us) thermostat, and couldn’t load TV formats or use Airplay.

The PERFECT getaway!

My sister and I fully enjoyed this space for a getaway. Bright, lovely, clean, spacious, and super comfy. Gorgeous view and close to so much without being in the center of it all.

This property was everything it was described as being. Great beach location. Well stocked the owners have thought of EVERYTHING. Literally, could just show up with your clothes. Beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the huge deck. The parking is superb.

Nicely furnished condo. Lots of extras. No need to bring anything for the beach- they have plenty of beach gear for everyone. Great time and location. Great owners who were prompt to answer when we needed them. We would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful Unit and Views

The unit was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed from beach towels and beach chairs to shampoo, bodywash and conditioner right in the showers. The master king size bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! Porch is large and great for morning coffee and family dinners. Ashley is very responsive if you need anything. She helped direct me to the most beautiful home decor/gift shop. It was great being able to park my car underneath the building. I highly recommend this unit. We had the best time!

New Year's @ Carolina Beach

This condo is by far the BEST experience I have had in years. The location was perfect, and the pictures don't do the condo justice. It was spectacular. I have used VRBO countless times, and this rental had everything we needed. You don't have to bring anything with you unless you want a fancy coffee!!! I will definitely be renting this unit again. Also, the property manager was prompt in getting back to me about a quick question and even checked in on us to make sure everything was going well. Service was impeccable. Definitely recommend. It will not disappoint.

Wonderful Spot Right on the Water

If you are looking for a great spot right on the water, with great views and location, look no further! When we first pulled in to the property, we were pleased to see that this unit had covered parking. This was great when it rained while also keeping your car about 30 degrees cooler than parking outside in the summer heat. The unit itself is super cute with lots of great touches throughout. Did I mention the view? Outstanding views from the living room and main bedroom! A large covered deck/porch was great to enjoy watching the sun rise while enjoying a cup of coffee, or for eating meals while enjoying the beach views and people watching. Location is excellent! We were able to walk to several restaurants so we didn’t have to fight for a parking spot. We also walked to the boardwalk one evening, and enjoyed a walk on the beach to come back home (walking to/from the boardwalk will also save you $40 for 2-hour parking in-season). Very fun!! Owners are very nice and happily respond to any questions you may have during your stay. I highly recommend booking this unit for your next trip to the beach!!

Ridden hard and out away wet

Ok.. The good... Great location, great view. Fairly clean... Not too my standards but I'm picky. The bad... Place is run down... And owners tried to spruce up but basically put lipstick on a pig. The floors are all slanted and spongy. Sliding doors don't lock, woodwork and trim is all beat up, rusty medicine cabinet, doors are hideous and the place is overall very used. TV in guest bedroom doesn't connect to wifi, mattresses in guest bedroom are shot. Seems to be the trend but even though they collect a cleaning fee, you are still required to take out the trash, load dishwasher, unmake beds, etc. pictures make it appear new but don't be fooled.

Nice condo with great location right on the beach. A short golf cart ride to the boardwalk as well as restaurants and shops. The condo was perfect for our family of 5. The bedroom with the bunk beds and double bed was perfect for our 3 girls ages 6 through 10. Great communication with host and easy check in.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family had a great time at this home. Plenty of room for a family of 5. We made lunch and dinner at home for half of the trip and had no issues- plenty of utensils, plates, pots and pans. The deck is what makes this. We spent many hours just sitting and relaxing watching the ocean.

Beyond expectation!

My husband and I were celebrating our 55th wedding anniversary and Big Deck was the perfect place. It was beautiful, clean, and had everything you would need for a great beach getaway. From linens to beach chairs it was all provided. We will definitely be returning to Big Deck in the future!
