Great Location

Very close to shooing and food. Beautiful beach view, the place and the property management company were nice. Make sure to bring your own beach chairs as the ones available are in need of replacing.

Ocean views

Property was clean, and exactly as advertised. Check in and out was smooth, questions were answered promptly and best of all we were able to bring our fur babies. Parking was a little tricky but we didn't have any issues. Lots of stairs and there is no elevator. Not an issue for us but something to consider is carrying supplies and luggage up multiple flights. Overall an outstanding location with an incredible view.

Wonderful vacation rental!

The Kraken was a great rental condo. We were amazed by all of the "extras" that were already there - from kitchen supplies to beach chairs & tons of beach towels! We loved the location - close to both the boardwalk (but far enough away to avoid the crowds) and the lake (a great place to walk our dog). The view from the deck was perfect. We would highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic location

Perfect beachfront view and deck, well worth climbing the three flights of stairs. Nicely furnished and the space was very comfortable for a family of four. Cooking in or eating out are both great options due to the size of the kitchen and location of the condo. Great family get away , easy to reserve and good response from Seascape with any issues

View is spectacular, enough appliances in fair condition. Upon our arrival, bathroom weren’t clean, kitchen pantries dirty with strong smell, had to wash dishes and silverware before use for first rime. Seats in dinner table had food and stain, after reported took two days to someone to clean but stains were barely removed. Parking space was another issue, it's not designed space per unit so was necessary to be in constantly communicating with others guests to swap space.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We came for the peace and serenity of the ocean in winter, but we got so much more. This condo is bright, clean, modern, beautifully appointed, and better equipped than any property I've stay in before. They thought of everything! I hope to return, and highly recommend this property. Seascape was excellent to deal with as well (Thanks, Tracey).

Left a lot to be desired

Upon entering the condo we were “welcomed” by a roach. Although the unit was just cleaned, it seemed is that it may have just been a wipe down as opposed to a deep clean for new renters. The unit smelled musty. We found several areas where black mold was present, specifically at the vent under the dining area table and inside the front door. The air conditioning returns are corroded and filthy and obviously need some attention. The parking was another huge inconvenience. As the units do not have assigned spaces, we were consistently contacted by other renters in the building to move our cars.If you’re leaving the unit for any extended period of time,, and parked behind someone, you will be contacted to move your car in order for that person to get out. There should also be more than one key for the beach and pool access. Another huge inconvenience when everyone doesn’t leave the unit and go down to the beach/pool at the same time, we were walking back and forth to let others out onto the beach. Although the unit is oceanfront and does have great views, it left a lot to be desired. The property mgmt group were very responsive and accommodating to our late check out request. But when all said and done, we would definitely not stay there again.

The View

The condo is in a perfect location. It was very clean and well stocked. Although it wasn’t fun hauling luggage up 3 flights of stairs, the view is totally worth it!! We would rent again.

Perfect!

If you don't mind climbing up the stairs, you're rewarded by a nicely furnished place, with ocean view from the master bedroom and even a king size bed! Pet friendly, location is ideal for dog owners as you can walk around the nearby Carolina Lake. highly recommended.

Coffee/wine overlooking ocean- Fabulous

Condo had everything and more. Very clean, spacious, fully equipped kitchen, linens, towels, beach towels. Couldn't ask for more. Very nicely decorated. We were beyond pleased with condo. Our only problem was the parking under building. While we realize that is only place to park, we were told 2 spaces allowed and to pull all the way up. You leave your phone number on dashboard in case someone pulls behind your car. We were blocked in, (missed dinner reservations) because it took almost one hour for that person to answer us. Clearly, this system doesn't work. I highly recommend this condo, but, be aware of parking situation. It is 3rd floor, with lots of steps, so if any health problems might not be best choice for you. The beach is lovely. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

Well-appointed, nicely located property

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is well appointed and nice looking. The deck has a beautiful view and great furniture. The walk to the beach is easy and there are water stations to wash your feet when you come back. (No outside showers.) My only complaint is that you cannot control the AC (it is set in a range of 6x - 74, which means it is at 74 the entire time). Overall, however, a great property!

Kraken... by Seascape properties!

Place was awesome, nicely decorated... great view!!! Only negative was the sand in garage area.. I’m sure due to recent hurricane... difficult to keep sand out of condo though when it’s not cleaned out of garages or steps.... other than that location was awesome, seascape property managers were awesome!!! Hope to come back next year!
