“Mike arrived immediately for check-in. He was a fantastic host, very informative about what to do and where to go and places to eat. When 2 of our group became ill, he kindly left us energy drinks. Facilities at the house were excellent, property was spacious as per photos and very clean. We would highly recommend this property and this host to anyone planning to visit the Chicago area.”

“Clean, fully equipped with sporting/recreational stuff, loads of bedrooms and bathrooms. The only real negative is that almost all the bathrooms are attached to bedrooms. Pickle ball, basketball, cornhole, volleyball, pool table, kayaks, all great. Perfect for a large group.”

“Check in was super easy! House was cleaned and looked just like the picture. Beds were super comfortable. The house was very roomy and warming. The upper deck was nice and the view of the lake was beautiful! We brought our pontoon boat and docked it at their pier and that made it more fun! Overall, our stay was very nice and I'd definitely stay there again!! The hosts were very fast with responding. ”

“The house was perfect. Stayed for one month as a family of three with one dog. The host was easy to communicate with and clearly loved the home. The house had everything you might need in terms of kitchenware, bedding, and space. The location was convenient with plenty of food, grocery store, and activities nearby - definitely need a car though. ”

“The check-in was very simple using a private code. The kitchen was well equipped although it did take some looking around to find some items as there are many cabinets and drawers. Some of us especially liked the free Keurig coffee makers and K-cups. There was adequate seating for everyone to eat, the dining room, high-top table in the kitchen and stools at the kitchen counter. The wi-fi was more than adequate for our group of 18. We especially loved the three-season room which face west. That……

“Excellent location for a retreat or family gathering. 12/10! We loved the open space and many thoughtful details, such as the large whiteboard and fresh dry erase markers. The wifi and tech worked well. The A/C was amazingly cool, and we were there during a major heat wave. The outdoor area is absolutely beautiful, both day and night. The view of the river was lovely, and there were hardly any bugs, even outside at night with the pretty lights on. Beds were comfy. Communications with the host……
